An opening and closing device for moving a movable member which includes a drive gear connected to a power source, a driven gear geared with the drive gear, an immovable portion supporting the drive gear and the driven gear, and a dynamic transmission mechanism connected to the driven gear so that the driven gear and the dynamic transmission mechanism rotate together as a unit. The dynamic transmission mechanism transmits a drive force of the power source from the driven gear to the movable member. A direction of a rotational force affecting the driven gear via the dynamic transmission mechanism in accordance with a state of the movable member fluctuates. The opening and closing device further includes a friction member located at least at one position between relatively movable facing surfaces of the immovable portion, the drive gear, the driven gear, and the dynamic power transmission mechanism.

A door lock assembly has a slide pin (9) slidably supported to an door opening lever (4), a first oblong hole (52) formed in a locking lever (5) and inserting the slide pin (9), and a window like opening (31) formed in the lift lever (3), inserting the slide pin (9) and provided with a projection (31a) capable of restricting a slide motion of the slide pin (9), wherein a position of the slide pin (9) with respect to the opening (31) is changed in correspondence to an operation of the door opening lever (4) and the locking lever (5), thereby engaging and disengaging the pawl (7) with the latch (6), and engaging and disengaging a connection between the door opening lever (4) with the lift lever (3).

Door lock assembly for automotive vehicles

A sun-roof device for use in a vehicle having a roof includes an open portion formed in the roof and having a pair of parallel spaced side peripheries each of which extends in a lengthwise direction of the vehicle. A frame is fixed to the roof so as to be located below the roof and has a pair of guide rails each of which extends along a side periphery of the opening portion. A movable panel is provided for opening and closing the opening portion and a pair of sliding members are connected to the movable panel for moving the movable panel. The sliding members are each guided in one of the guide rails so as to be slidable in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle, and a draining groove member for draining water on the frame is provided below the frame and separate from the frame.

Sun-roof device

A sun-roof structure of a vehicle body including a retractable roof panel assembly which is comprised of a rigid front panel and a foldable hood. Guide grooves and link mechanism are provided so that the front panel is laid over the folded hood in the retracted position of the sun-roof so as to cover the folded hood.
