An apparatus for corneal crosslinking, the use of the apparatus for corneal crosslinking, and a method for corneal crosslinking are provided. The apparatus comprises a source of laser radiation; a scanner device for scanning the laser radiation; and a control computer for controlling the scanner device.

Apparatus for corneal crosslinking

In certain embodiments, marking a lenticule includes controlling a focus of pulsed laser radiation having ultrashort pulses. A lenticule marking is created in a cornea of an eye with the pulsed laser radiation to mark the lenticule. The lenticule is then created in the cornea with the pulsed laser radiation.

Marking lenticules for refractive correction

In certain embodiments, refractive correction includes controlling a focus of pulsed laser radiation having ultrashort pulses. A channel is created with the pulsed laser radiation to facilitate separation of the lenticule from the eye. A posterior incision is created with the pulsed laser radiation to form a posterior side of the lenticule. An anterior incision is created with the pulsed laser radiation to form an anterior side of the lenticule.

Extracting lenticules for refractive correction

The present disclosure relates to the cross-linking of eye tissue. Embodiments of the disclosure relate to the activation of a photosensitizer and/or nanoparticles for the cross-linking of eye tissue.

Cross-linking of eye tissue

An apparatus for dissecting an eye for the introduction of a photosensitizer into tissue of an eye, a cannula device for introducing the photosensitizer, a system comprising the apparatus and the cannula device, and a method for dissecting an eye for the introduction of a photosensitizer are provided. The apparatus comprises a source for laser radiation, a system for guiding and focusing the laser radiation with respect to the tissue of an eye, and a computer for controlling said system.
