The BLR1 recombination event is introgressed into differentgenetic backgrounds using breeding techniques known to those skilled in the art. For example, theinbred line BLR-038 or anotherplant containing the BLR1 recombination event may be crossed with male sterile inbreds to produce hybrids expressing low GSL content and superior agronomic traits.
