A sealing ring for a header of an implantable device has an outer ring and an inner ring. The outer ring is formed with, or of, a high-performance thermoplastic material. The inner ring is formed with, or of, liquid silicone or polyurethane. The inner and outer rings are arranged with a form-fit relative to each other. There is also described a method for manufacturing such a sealing ring and also a contact socket and an implantable device with such a sealing ring.

An assembly for an electrode connection device of an implant has a continuous receiving unit for a plug, a first connecting element which is arranged in a front region of the receiving unit and has at least two flat lateral surfaces, and a second connecting element, which is arranged in a rear region of the receiving unit. The second connecting element includes at least two flat lateral surfaces. Furthermore, an electrode connection device, an implant, and a method for mounting an electrode connection device all utilize the assembly.

A connector arrangement () for establishing a two-pole electric contact between components of an implantable medical device () includes: a first connector portion () including a first contact element () and a pin receptacle (); and a second connector portion () including a second contact element () and a contact pin (). The connector arrangement () is configured to assume a connected state wherein the first contact element () is in contact with the second contact element () and the contact pin () is received in the pin receptacle (). At least a part of the first connector portion () and/or at least a part of the second connector portion () is mounted on a printed circuit board ().

Two-pole electric contact connector for implantable medical device components

An electrical contact component for a contact socket of an implantable medical device includes an electrical contact element for electrically contacting an electrical counter contact (such as an electrode plug), and an electrically conductive outer ring having a plug borehole for receiving the electrical counter contact. The interior of the outer ring includes a depression receiving the electrical contact element. The electrical contact element is formed by contact bodies (such as balls or rolls), a cage element for receiving the contact bodies, and at least one electrically conductive spring element.

An implantable electronic medical device has a device body and a header placed thereon, and includes a telemetry assembly for signal transmission to and/or from outside the body of a patient when the device is implanted, in particular for the wireless bidirectional communication. A transmit/receive antenna, which is physically formed of an elongated conductor and arranged in the region of the header and which is configured so as to have a form fit with the outer contour of at least a portion of the header, and is fixed thereby in the header, is at least largely assigned to the telemetry assembly. A first section of the conductor has a spring elastic design and forms a bracket or clamp. The bracket embraces a connector in the header. There is also described a transmit/receive antenna of a telemetry assembly of an implantable electronic medical device.

A releasable contact connection arrangement for electrodes on an electromedical device, in particular for electrodes of active implants, such as neurostimulator devices, includes a contact end, which is provided on the electrode and comprises at least one electrical contact, a device-side connector head on the electromedical device, a connector opening on the connector head for anchoring the contact end of the electrode so as to produce an electrical contact connection and releasable mechanical fixing, and an anti-kink device at the exit of the contact end from the connector opening, wherein the anti-kink device includes a flexible anti-kink sleeve sitting on the contact end of the electrode before the at least one electrical contact, said anti-kink sleeve being slid via its fixing end facing the connector head into a receiving recess that is enlarged compared to the connector opening and being fastened therein.
