A package tray assembly is provided for a motor vehicle. The package tray assembly includes a package tray having a vehicle forward end, a vehicle rearward end and a storage device. The storage device is carried on the underside of the package tray and has an opening oriented toward the vehicle rearward end of the package tray. That opening is easily accessed and is presented to the user when the lift gate is opened and the package tray is pivoted upwardly.

A combined cup holder and storage bin is provided. Such a device includes a rotating body having a first feature, a second feature and a third feature. The rotating body is selectively displaceable into a first position orienting the first feature for use, a second position orienting the second feature for use and a third position orienting the third feature for use.

An illuminated storage assembly disposed within a vehicle is provided herein. The illuminated storage assembly includes a housing defining a storage compartment laterally extending into an instrument panel. A cover is operably coupled to the housing to support the cover between open and closed positions. A light source is disposed within the illuminated storage assembly and is configured to illuminate a feature of the illuminated storage assembly based on the position of the cover.

A cup holder assembly includes a pair of planar bodies each defining a rim, and a pair of fabric pouches that are each attached to one of the rims. The planar bodies are pivotably attached to each other and are configured such that, in a folded position, the rims are stacked and the fabric pouches are nested within each other, and in a deployed position, the rims and fabric pouches are side-by-side.

In one or more embodiments, a storage assembly to be at least partially received underneath a trim panel of a volume of space is provided to include a storage floor positioned at least partially within the volume of space, a first connector about which the storage floor pivots relative to the trim panel, a cover providing covering to the storage floor, and a second connector spaced apart from the first connector and supporting the cover such that the cover may be moved relative to the storage floor.

A cup holder system is provided for a motor vehicle. The cup holder system includes a storage bin having a housing and a cover. Further the cup holder system includes a cup holder, a first mounting feature in the storage bin for receiving and holding the cup holder in a first use position and a second mounting feature at a second location in the motor vehicle outside the storage bin for receiving and holding the cup holder in a second use position.

A cargo area for a vehicle includes a package tray behind the rear seat having an upper surface and a lower surface. The package tray is rotated about an axis to uncover the cargo area. The cargo area further includes a container detachably or permanently attached to the lower surface of the panel. The container may define one or more receptacles that are accessible when the panel is raised and lowered when the package tray is lowered to a horizontal orientation above the cargo area.
