A system and method analyzes resource usage within a utility data center (UDC) and recommends options to maximize efficient usage of these resources. Information is gathered about the current resources allocated to control planes within the UDC, including resource loads and threshold limits within each plane. Criteria used to analyze efficiency includes customer size and prioritization within the UDC, as well as, historical and trending information, and peak resource usage.

Method and system for performing load balancing across control planes in a data center

An apparatus, system, and a corresponding method, for designating and implementing support level agreements (SLAs). A customer forwards a query defining required resources. Predetermined support level agreement options are then provided to the user based upon the required resources. The customer then forwards their selection of a particular predetermined support level agreement, which includes a plurality of measurement monitors and corresponding non-compliance thresholds defined therein. Based upon the particular support level agreement selected by the customer, service for that customer is enabled.

Method and apparatus for designating and implementing support level agreements

A system and method for an enterprise-to-enterprise compare within a data center. Image backups are typically used to identify the configuration of each system within a data center. The configuration data for one or more enterprises may be combined with feedback and/or performance data to determine an known good model configuration for a given enterprise type. Enterprises within the data center stray from the original configuration and are compared with an enterprise model to yield recommendations for upgrades or maintenance or component substitution.
