A delivery tube and cap are configured to be connected to a container that houses fluid to be delivered to a nasal cavity. The delivery tube includes an inner cannula that is positioned within an outer cannula. Each of the cannulas includes an outlet. The delivery tube and cap are configured to provide relative axial movement between the cannulas. The cannulas are positionable between a first axial position that aligns the outlets to deliver the fluid out of the device in a lateral direction and a second axial position that misaligns the outlets to impede the fluid from being delivered out of the device in the lateral direction.

Devices and methods for delivering fluid to a nasal cavity

Devices and methods for delivering fluid from a container to the nasal cavity. The device includes a selector and a nozzle that are connected together and rotatable relative to each other. The device includes a curve to overcome anatomical barriers and one or more openings to provide for effective distribution when delivering the fluid to the nasal cavity. The selector includes an opening that aligns with a corresponding opening in a container that holds the fluid. The nozzle includes a first passage with one or more openings on a first lateral side, and a second passage with one or more openings on an opposing second lateral side. The selector and nozzle can be positioned at a first and second rotational positions to selectively deliver the fluid through the first and second passages to the nasal cavity.

A delivery tube and cap are configured to be connected to a container that houses fluid to be delivered to a nasal cavity. The delivery tube includes an inner cannula that is positioned within an outer cannula. Each of the cannulas includes a first outlet with one or more openings aligned along a first lateral section and a second outlet with one or more openings aligned along a second lateral section. The delivery tube and cap are configured to provide relative axial movement between the cannulas. The cannulas are positionable between a first axial position that aligns the first outlets along the first lateral section of the delivery tube to deliver the fluid out of the device in a first lateral direction, and a second axial position that aligns the second outlets along the second lateral section to deliver fluid out of the device in a second lateral direction.

An instrument system for treating a sinus of a subject includes an instrument including a base configured to be gripped by an operator, and an elongate probe including a probe proximal end coupled with the base and extending to a probe distal end. The probe includes an aspiration lumen terminating at an inlet port proximate the probe distal end, and a delivery lumen terminating at an outlet port proximate the probe distal end. The instrument also includes a waveguide on the probe and having a light emitting end proximate the probe distal end.

A device for delivering fluid to a nasal cavity comprises an elongated member comprising a hollow exterior cannula and a hollow interior cannula. The interior cannula is flexible, is at least partially housed within the exterior cannula, and comprises an inlet for intake of the fluid and at least one outlet for ejecting the fluid. The exterior cannula has outlets for ejecting the fluid which are positioned within the nasal cavity by inserting the distal end of the device through a given nostril. A portion of the device has a continuously curving centerline that divides the device into a first and second lateral section. At least one outlet is positioned in each of the first and second lateral sections. Rotation of the distal section of the interior cannula within the exterior cannula permits the ejection of fluid predominantly out of outlets on respective lateral sides of the outer cannula.
