The present invention relates to a method and system for early detection of COVID-19. Existing methods require data from multiple sensors for training a prediction model whose output is considered as final prediction which is actually the prediction for a particular day or time instance. However, this prediction doesn't detect actual infection of COVID-19 since it requires monitoring the change in health of the user over consecutive days. Embodiments of present disclosure overcome these challenges by a prediction model for COVID-19 which requires only data from Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor seamlessly collected from a wearable device still able to provide accurate COVID-19 prediction with application of a post processing technique on the predictions of the prediction model. Since COVID-19 symptoms have an effect on heartrate and oxygen saturation which are effectively captured by PPG sensor data, studying these dynamics during infection period gives insights to perform early detection of COVID-19.

Method and system for early detection of COVID-19

Embodiments herein provide a method and system for continuously validating a user during an established authenticated session using Photoplethysmogram (PPG) and accelerometer data. State of the art approaches are mostly based on feature extraction and ML modelling for PPG based continuous session validation, while a template based approach in the art follows a complicated approach. The method disclosed herein utilizes less computation intensive template based approach to continuously validate the user across the session. The method comprises preprocessing a PPG data or PPG signal acquired from a wearable device worn by the user to identify segments of negligible motion. A first segment, after authentication using conventional authentication mechanism, serves as the initial reference. The chosen segments are then tested one by one with respect to the reference. If the templates in a segment match those of the reference, it is updated as the new reference, else a re-authentication is triggered.

Continuously validating a user during an established authenticated session using photoplethysmogram and accelerometer data

This disclosure relates generally to classification of cardiopulmonary fatigue. The method and system provides a longitudinal monitoring platform to classify cardiopulmonary fatigue of a subject using a wearable device worn by the subject. The activities of the subject is continuous monitored by plurality of sensors embedded in a wearable device. The received sensor signals are processed in multiple stages to classify cardiopulmonary fatigue as healthy or unhealthy based on respiratory, heart rate and recovery duration parameters extracted from the received sensor data. Further using the classified cardiopulmonary fatigue level, the C2P also performs longitudinal analysis to detect potential cardiopulmonary disorders.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods that establish non-linear components of gyroscope errors which have not been studied or explored earlier. These errors include but are not limited to non-linear dynamic error which is a function of the angular velocity itself. Bias instability has been observed within the same environment of temperature and atmospheric pressure. In other words, the embodiments of the present disclosure analyse and models static bias errors and dynamic non-linear errors in the gyroscope sensor which may be used to model and correct errors accordingly In subsequent measurements. The system provide solution(s) when there is no way of directly estimating temperature for bias correction of gyroscope, by estimating a temperature change by considering indirect measurements from other sensors present onboard the device.

Systems and methods for estimating errors in gyroscope sensors

A wireless sensor network provides a communication link between a plurality of nodes. Communication among the plurality of nodes is based one or more protocol components that are associated with a selected quality of service (QoS). A preamble byte can have bit values assigned based on application preferences, and the preamble byte used to select one or more protocol components from a component library. The preamble byte is combined with a data payload and transmitted to additional nodes based on the selected QoS.

Dynamic stack-based networks for resource constrained devices

A system and method for robust data loss recovery in a wireless local area network is provided. The method includes splitting user data into multiple data fragments. The method further includes creating multiple beacon frames by placing each data fragment in a unique beacon frame and broadcasting the beacon frames through a wireless medium by an access point of the network. Prior to transmission, the method includes arranging the frames into a plurality of groups and creating a parity frame for each group, to be transmitted along with the beacon frame. After transmission, the beacon frames are received by a wireless client and data fragments are extracted from each beacon frame. At the receiving end, the wireless client checks whether all the transmitted beacon frames have been received. Finally, the user data is reconstructed from the extracted data fragments by reassembling the data fragments.

Delivery of non-standard frame field information can be accomplished by publicly broadcasting the non-standard frame field information in one or more broadcast frames within an open wireless computing network. The broadcast can be received by a client wireless device when the client wireless device has not established a connection to the wireless network. The client can store the received information. A system for delivery of non-standard frame field information can comprise a special-purpose access point configured to deliver the information by broadcasting the information in a plurality of broadcast frames. The system can also comprise a client wireless device that receives the broadcast and aggregates the received information when the client is not connected to a wireless network.

Location-based services can be provided by broadcasting location-based information within wireless network zones. Location-based services can be provided within an ad-hoc wireless network zone by broadcasting location-based information regarding the location-based services. The broadcast can be received by a client wireless device within the zone. The client wireless device can display alerts based on the received location-based information.
