An information handling system peripheral camera analyzes captured visual images to detect a face and analyzes the face to determine an upright orientation. Based upon the face upright orientation, the camera defines a visual image orientation to communicate the visual image from the peripheral camera to an information handling system so that the face is communicated in an upright orientation for use in a video conference, such as with an indication of a landscape or portrait image orientation. In one embodiment, an information handling system can perform the face upright orientation analysis and command a camera orientation to the camera so that visual images of the camera are communicated in alignment with the face upright orientation.

System and method for compensation for gapped data packets during polling for communication between a wireless input/output (IO) device and a wireless communication dongle

An information handling system and peripheral mouse establish level four security when a preloaded security identification packet is available to securely identify both devices for the exchange of pairing information in a manner that avoids man-in-the-middle attacks. The peripheral advertises with both a BLE protocol packet that supports a conventional level 3 security pairing and a secure identification packet that supports a level four security pairing. When the secure identification packet advertisement is selected by a host, the BLE profile may be populated without performing pairing so that the profile can be used to subsequently pair without risk of a malicious device imitating the BLE interface.

Plural cameras cooperate to define an overlap of fields of view that consolidate to provide an extended field of view communicated to an information handling system. The plural cameras stitch the non-overlapping portions into a consolidated visual image by reference to a landmark captured by both cameras in the overlapping portion, such as a reference marker placed in the extended field of view. The plural cameras coordinate through a wireless interface or with a daisy chain of communication cables to share the overlap boundary, resolution compatibility and an architecture for communicating the consolidated field of view with the information handling system.

An information handling system presents audible sounds from audio information at an in-ear monitor having a speaker in a speaker housing that directs sound through a speaker tube. An angular alignment mechanism adjusts the angular orientation of the speaker tube relative to the speaker housing and a vertical alignment mechanism adjust the distance that the speaker tube extends out from the speaker housing. Position sensors detect the position of the ear tube so that an audio processor can apply the position to adjust the sound output from the speaker and the noise cancellation provided in response to external noise detected by a microphone within the speaker housing.

An information handling system camera detects ambient light and applies ambient light brightness to determine whether to color correct a captured image with ambient color temperature or a color temperature associated with a display. For example, a first RGB ambient light sensor detects ambient light from the camera field of view. When the ambient light is below a predetermined brightness, the camera image sensor processor (ISP) applies color temperature of a second RGB ambient light sensor directed at a display to perform color correction. For instance, with camera that mounts on a display top side, the second RGB ambient light sensor is disposed at the bottom of the camera and directed at the display.
