Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for supporting acknowledgements for DL data transmitted on UL resources. One apparatus in a mobile communication network includes a processor and a transceiver that receives signaling information from a RAN node to schedule a first set of PDSCH resources and a first set of corresponding PUSCH resources, where the information to schedule the first set of PDSCH resources and the first set of PUSCH resources is transmitted in a same slot. The processor determines feedback information for a PDSCH transmission received from the RAN node using the first set of PDSCH resources and controls the transceiver to send feedback information for the PDSCH transmission to the RAN node using the first set of PUSCH resources.

One apparatus includes a processor that determines an offset value for a retransmission timer associated with a configured grant for communications between the UE and a mobile wireless communication network. The processor starts the retransmission timer adjusted by the offset value in response to transmission of data corresponding to a transport block ('TB') on a hybrid automatic repeat request (“HARQ”) process. The processor detects expiration of the retransmission timer associated with the configured grant. In response to detecting expiration of the retransmission timer, the processor determines a transmission resource from a plurality of configured transmission resources for retransmitting a TB.

One apparatus includes a transceiver that receives a configuration from a RAN for multiple sets of BFD reference signal (RS), multiple beam failure instance (BFI) counters, and an association of at least one BFD RS set and a corresponding BFI counter to one of a plurality of groups. The processor measures a signal strength on the BFD RS for each group and compares the measured signal strength with a BFD RS threshold value. The processor increments a BFI counter associated with a particular group if the measured signal strength is below a BFD RS threshold value and initiates random-access procedure if the BFI counter reaches a maximum value of beam failure for each group.
