A flap device for an internal combustion engine includes a flow housing comprising a flow channel, an actuating shaft, a flap body arranged on the actuating shaft in the flow channel, a bore comprising a shoulder arranged in the flow housing, a bearing bush arranged in the bore, a closure bush, a slide ring comprising a slide ring inner portion, and a sealing element surrounding the actuating shaft. The actuating shaft is mounted in the bearing bush. The sealing element comprises a membrane with a membrane inner portion and a membrane outer portion. The membrane outer portion is clamped axially between the closure bush and the shoulder to form a contact surface on the bore of the flow housing. The membrane inner portion rests against the slide ring inner portion to form a mating surface which is arranged closer to the flow channel than to the contact surface.

Flap device for an internal combustion engine

A sealing arrangement for a control device of an internal combustion engine includes a housing. A channel is formed in the housing. The channel has a gas flow therethrough. A control member controls a flow of the gas in the channel. The control member is arranged on a shaft. A bearing supports the shaft in a bearing bore of the housing. A vent bore extends in the housing from an inner wall of the channel on an inlet side of the control member to a rear side, facing outward from the channel, of the bearing arranged in the housing, and into the bearing bore. A first groove is formed in the shaft behind the bearing. The first groove is configured so as to be circumferential when seen from the channel. The first groove is surrounded radially by a sealing device which is configured to cooperate with the first groove.

Sealing arrangement for a control device of an internal combustion engine

A coupling device for transmitting a torque from a first shaft to a second shaft. The coupling device includes the first shaft with a first end section having radially opposite, radially extending projections and/or recesses. The second shaft has a second end section with radially opposite, radially extending projections and/or recesses. The first shaft is axially opposite the second shaft. The coupling device includes a coupling member having coupling projections and/or recesses, wherein the projections and/or recesses of the first and second end sections are respectively configured to engage with at least one of the coupling projections and/or recesses. The coupling projections and/or recesses corresponding to the first end section are arranged at a displacement of about 90&#xb0; relative to the coupling projections and/or recesses corresponding to the second end section and the coupling member at least partially surrounds the first and second end sections. The first and second sections are disposed axially directly opposite to each other, and the coupling member is positionally fixed by the first and second end sections.
