A parking brake device with at least one first connector line to a compressed air source and with at least one second connector line to a compressed air source, includes at least one electronically actuable bistable valve arrangement for the actuation of a spring brake cylinder and at least one further electronically actuable redundancy control valve arrangement for the actuation of a redundant brake system. At least one first control electronics module and at least one second control electronics module are provided which can be operated independently of one another. The bistable valve arrangement can be actuated via the first control electronics module, and, independently thereof, the redundancy control valve arrangement can be actuated via the second control electronics module.

A pneumatic braking device for a utility vehicle includes at least one pneumatically controllable spring accumulator for a parking brake of the utility vehicle and an electronic parking brake device. The electronic parking brake device has at least one electronic control unit, at least one bistable valve unit, at least one first valve unit by which a parking brake of a trailer of the utility vehicle can be deactivated when activating the parking brake of the utility vehicle, at least one second valve device which can be connected in such a way that when there is a decrease in the system pressure for supplying the parking brake of the trailer, the parking brake of the trailer can be activated, and a traction vehicle protection valve.

Pneumatic braking device

An arrangement for a utility vehicle includes at least one air dryer unit and a regulating unit, wherein the air dryer unit and the regulating unit are designed in each case as separate units. The air dryer unit has at least one air dryer module, in particular an air dryer cartridge, at least one discharge valve and at least one control line for the pneumatic control of the discharge valve. At least one connecting line is provided in the air dryer unit with connection to the air dryer module. The connecting line leads directly to a consumer non-return valve for the air dryer unit, which is arranged outside of the air dryer unit, wherein the connecting line can be used at least partially bi-directionally and/or can be or is connected to a bi-directionally usable line section.

A parking brake device for motor vehicles has at least one first parking brake unit and one second parking brake unit, wherein the first parking brake unit has at least one first compressed air connector, a first inlet-ventilation solenoid valve unit, a first relay valve, a spring brake valve and at least one first compressed air outlet. The first compressed air connector is connected to the first inlet-ventilation solenoid valve unit and the first relay valve. A first control line is provided in the first parking brake unit in such a way that the first relay valve is connected to the first inlet-ventilation solenoid valve unit, wherein the first control line has a first branch upstream of the first relay valve, and wherein a first outlet line is provided in the first parking brake unit, which first outlet line is connected to the at least one first compressed air outlet and has a first outlet branch. A spring brake line is provided in the first parking brake unit, which spring brake line is connected via a first branch to the first control line and via the first outlet branch to the outlet line. The first parking brake unit has a spring brake valve which is arranged in the spring brake line and is connected to the first relay valve, and a first throttle unit which is arranged in the spring brake line between the first outlet branch of the first outlet line and the first branch of the first control line.

An air-preparation device for a motor vehicle, including: at least one first compressed air connection and a second compressed air connection; and a first air-preparation component and a second air-preparation component; wherein the first air-preparation component has at least one first solenoid valve, a second solenoid valve and a third solenoid valve, a first air drier cartridge, a first main nonreturn valve, a first regeneration nonreturn valve, a first regeneration throttle and a first inlet valve, wherein the second air-preparation component has at least one second air drier cartridge, a second main nonreturn valve, a second regeneration nonreturn valve, a second regeneration throttle and a second inlet valve, wherein the first solenoid valve and the second solenoid valve are for controlling the first air-preparation component, and wherein a control line is configured so that the second air-preparation component is connected to the third solenoid valve of the first air-preparation component.

Air preparation device for motor vehicles

An electropneumatic parking brake control device controls a parking brake including at least one spring brake actuator. The control device includes a relay valve with a control chamber and a vent. The control chamber can be connected to the vent via at least one second throttle element and/or at least one third throttle element depending on the position of the relay piston.

Electropneumatic parking brake control device, and braking system of a vehicle

In the event of a pneumatic trailer connection failure between a tractor and trailer of, e.g., a commercial vehicle, a pressure protection valve (PPV) is provided on the air line between a double check valve that supplies air from one or more service reservoirs and a trailer parking valve without a flow restrictor, which transmits the air to the trailer connection for supplying the trailer brakes. When output pressure on the PPV drops below a predetermined closing pressure threshold due to the connection failure, the PPV closes to protect the tractor brake air supply. Upon restoration of the trailer connection and upon input pressure at the PPV exceeding a predetermined opening pressure threshold, the PPV opens and the trailer brake system is charged more quickly than can be achieved using a conventional trailer parking valve with a flow restrictor.

Pneumatic braking device for a utility vehicle

A parking brake device for a utility vehicle includes at least one control valve device, at least one relay valve, at least one pneumatic brake device and at least one trailer control module. The relay valve is controllable by the control valve device, and at least the pneumatic brake device can be actuated by the relay valve. Upstream of the trailer control module, another valve includes a first connector, a second connector and a third connector. A second connecting line is connected to the second connector and to the control valve device. A third connecting line is connected to the third connector and to the trailer control module. A first connecting line is connected to the first connector and to a first line arranged downstream of the relay valve.

A pressure-limiting valve includes a housing having a piston, a pressure-limiting adjusting spring, at least one inlet and at least one outlet. The piston can assume an open position in which the inlet and the outlet are connected to each other, and at least one closed position in which the inlet and the outlet are separated from each other. The piston has a first piston ring with a sealing surface and a second piston ring. In the closed position, the sealing surface is drawn against a housing projection in a sealing manner by a pneumatic force which acts on the second piston ring and is directed against the force of the pressure-limiting adjusting spring. A pneumatic passage in the piston which implements a safety valve function can be sealed by a spring-loaded safety valve body arranged on a side of the second piston ring that is opposite the outlet.

Pressure-limiting valve

A relay valve is provided for a vehicle. The valve includes a parking brake piston that is displaceable in a housing and an axially displaceable cuff, a first compressed-air chamber for receiving compressed air from a control line is formed between the parking brake piston and the housing. The valve is also provided with a first spring element, which axially applies a pre-loading force to the cuff, and with a second spring element, which axially applies another pre-loading force to the parking brake piston. An axially displaceable service brake piston is arranged axially between the parking brake piston and the cuff, the service brake piston rests at least radially against the parking brake piston and radially against the housing in a sealing manner, in order to form a second compressed-air chamber.

Dual-piston relay valve having an anti-compounding function

A vehicle pressure medium device in which a pressure medium flows, has a multilayer design which has at least two mutually contacting layers. A groove-shaped recess is arranged between a first chamber into which a first flow opening opens and a second chamber into which a second flow opening opens when viewed on a plane parallel to the layers. The groove-shaped recess has at least one opening for a fluidic connection between the first chamber and the second chamber on a plane parallel to the layers. A group of molded seals is provided for mounting between the two layers. A fluidic connection is either produced between the first chamber and the second chamber or not depending on the molded seals which are mounted between the two layers and each of which is selected from the group of molded seals.
