A high-pressure discharge lamp comprising a lamp base (), a discharge vessel, and components of an ignition device for igniting the gas discharge in the discharge vessel of the high-pressure discharge lamp (), wherein the lamp base () comprises an interior in which the components of the ignition device are disposed, wherein at least the high-voltage components () of the ignition device form an assembly () disposed in the interior of the lamp base and having a dedicated housing ().

A high-pressure discharge lamp comprising a translucent lamp bulb (), which extends along a longitudinal axis of the lamp and is attached to a plastic base (), which is essentially surrounded by a metal shielded enclosure (), a metal reference ring (), which is attached to an inner base part () of the plastic base (), and can is adapted to be brought into contact with a lamp module or vehicle headlight, wherein the reference ring () has at least one contact section (), which is in electroconductive contact with the shielded enclosure.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a steering wheel arrangement for motor vehicles having a steering wheel, an airbag module held at the steering wheel and movable in the direction of the axis of the steering wheel, and an electrical contact system arranged between the steering wheel and the airbag module for the actuation of an electrical functional unit, in particular of a vehicle horn by a relative movement between the steering wheel and the air-bag module taking place in the direction of the steering wheel axis, where-in the contact system includes elongate extended electrical conductors which are attached to mutually confronting sides of the steering wheel and of the airbag module or only to the steering wheel or to the airbag module and extend in such a way that conductors spaced apart in the direction of the steering wheel axis cross at least one contact position.

Apparatus and method for providing a horn contact mechanism

An electromagnetic switching relay having a base member and a magnetized coil. The base member having first guide elements. The magnetized coil having a terminal and second guide elements positioned substantially between the first guide elements that engage the first guide elements. A partition layer that allows displacement of the magnetizing coil relative to the base member before the second guide elements engage the first guide elements and fixes the second guide elements to the first guide elements when the base member and the magnetized coil are pushed toward each other.

Electromagnetic switching relay and method for accurate arrangement of a magnetizing coil in an electromagnetic switching relay

A load-disconnecting switch has a permanent-magnetic holding circuit. A coil ( ), upon excitation thereof, generates a magnetic flux that is opposite to the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet ( ). The armature ( ) is biassed to an open position by an armature spring ( ), so that the armature spring ( ), when a defined operational excitation is exceeded, detaches the armature ( ) from the core ( ) of the magnet system, allowing said armature to open and thereby disconnecting a switching contact ( ) and a fixed contact ( ). The load-disconnecting switch can be switched on again by means of a spring clip ( ) acting on said armature ( ).

Load disconnecting switch especially for use in motor vehicles

The magnet system is part of a relay, which displays particularly low-noise switching. Components of the magnet system include a core unit ( ), an armature ( ) and a not represented coil, whereby the armature ( ) is preloaded in an open position. The low-noise switching behavior is achieved in that the armature ( ) is designed in such a manner that the armature pole face in the region of its front end ( ) in the closing direction is essentially perpendicular to a connecting line ( ) towards the bearing edge ( ). In addition, when the armature ( ) is attracted, the core pole face ( ) extends at least substantially parallel to the armature pole face ( ). The arrangement according to the invention requires no additional parts for the purpose of noise reduction, resulting in a particularly simple and compact structure.

Magnet system for a relay

A switch relay with a switching status display is described, in which a display element is in operative connection with a switch contact of the switch relay and displays the switch positions in a clearly recognizable manner. The display element enlarges the display stroke so that contact movement is more readily visible. The principle is based on the elongation of a pointer of the flexing line of, for example, a constructed film hinge. As a result of the display element being constructed as a synthetic part low in mass, the contact dynamics are reduced by only a small extent.

Switch relay with switching status display

An armature for a switching relay having an armature plate and an armature spring. The armature plate is pivotally mounted on the switching relay between an open and closed position. The armature spring is attached to the switching relay by a suspension and has a spring contact region connected to the armature plate. A first web is attached to the spring contact region, and a tension rod is connected to the first web so that minimal torsional forces are transmitted to the tension rod when the armature plate pivots between the open position and the closed position.
