A stator-rotor device for an electrical machine, in particular an electric motor, includes a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator-rotor device pole cores provided with windings comprise pole shoes and magnets associated therewith. The pole shoes are connected via a first surface to a respective pole core and have a second surface that is facing towards the magnets. The pole shoes cooperate magnetically with the magnets and are separated from the latter by an air gap. The pole shoes and the magnets engage with one another in an engagement direction in such a way that in each case a section of the other component&#x2014;magnet or pole shoes&#x2014;is arranged lying opposite the respectively engaging component&#x2014;pole shoe or magnet&#x2014;transverse to the engagement direction on two sides facing away from one another. The second surface is larger than the first surface.

The invention relates to an engine control for a synchronous motor having a number of N stator coils set off in regard to each other, which are arranged around a rotor of the synchronous motor, wherein there may be impressed upon the stator coils by the engine control a coil voltage and wherein there is formed a coil current having a direct current component in a co-ordinate system rotating proportionally with the number of revolutions performed by the synchronous motor as well as a cross current component, wherein the cross current component effects a tangential force activating the rotor in the direction of rotation and wherein the direct current component effects a force acting perpendicularly to the rotor surface on the rotor, wherein the engine control has a direct current generator for generating a direct current component periodically alternating in the rotating co-ordinate system, in order to neutralize oscillations of the synchronous motor activated by the engine control by means of the force generated perpendicularly to the rotor surface, wherein the direct current generator is formed for evaluating at least one angle information and an operating cross current.

A circulation pump is provided. The circulation pump has an electric motor with a stator, a rotor and a motor circuit. The electric motor is disposed in a housing which has a first chamber, in which the stator and the rotor are disposed, and a second chamber, which is separate from the first chamber and in which at least one carrier is positioned, on which at least part of the motor circuit is disposed. The first chamber and the second chamber are connected by at least one connection opening, by means of which at least one electrical element of the motor circuit, which is disposed on the at least one carrier, is in thermal contact with the stator in the first chamber. By providing a housing with separate chambers, the stator in the first chamber may be liquid cooled and the second chamber containing the carrier may be air-cooled.

An electric motor comprising a rotor and a stator is disclosed. The rotor is supported on a substantially spherical bearing and is of a substantially spherical design facing the stator, which has a high degree of efficiency. The stator may have a magnetic return-path body which is made of a compressed powder material. The return-path body may be of a substantially spherical design, at least in segments facing the rotor.

Electric motor

A valve assembly for providing hot water includes a hot water side with a hot water inlet and a cold water side. The valve assembly also includes a central channel for fluid communication between the cold water side and the hot water side and a bypass valve portion. The bypass valve portion includes a thermostatic valve adapted to substantially block the fluid communication through the central channel between the cold water side and the hot water side when a temperature of water flowing through the central channel increases above a threshold temperature. The bypass valve portion also includes a temperature adjustment portion adapted to selectively vary the threshold temperature.

Spherical bearing, electric motor and circulation pump

When a hot water supply line has to be filled with hot water at all times it requires that the contents of the hot water supply line has to be returned to the hot water heater by a circulator pump. When gas-bubbles form in the hot water supply line, they tend to form a bubble in the suction area of the pump impeller, which leads to an interruption of the flow. In order to prevent this, a circulator pump is used which has a calming chamber in which some of the gases separate, the rest of the air is moved into the spiral channel around the impeller due to an eccentricity of the vortex inside of the impeller. Finally also this gas stream flows into the calming chamber from where the gases leave through a venting valve.
