A longitudinal frame for the chassis structure of a motor vehicle is provided. The frame includes at least two longitudinal sections, which are joined together to form a shared longitudinal structure by having the longitudinal sections at least partially overlap each other in an overlap region. One of the longitudinal sections of the frame has a side panel, which in the overlap region exhibits a connecting section for attachment to a floor panel, and the other longitudinal section exhibits a counter-panel in the overlap region that at least partially abuts against the side panel. The abutment of the counter-panel against the side panel remains outside of the connecting section. The frame includes at least one longitudinal structure, and the longitudinal structure and at least one of the longitudinal sections together extend over a longitudinal section of the longitudinal frame.

Longitudinal frame for the chassis structure of a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle having a rear vehicle body with a reinforcing structure is disclosed. The reinforcing structure includes at least two legs starting out from a common center. A face side formed by each of the legs is at least partially structurally connected with a side wall of the rear vehicle body. The reinforcing structure has a section which over at least a portion of the reinforcing structure includes a top-hat shaped cross section having material sections which projecting laterally towards the outside at least partially serve as a flange for fastening to the side wall or another part of the vehicle body.

A floor structure of a motor vehicle body having a floor panel is provided. The floor structure comprises a seat connection portion which with respect to a front foot well portion is formed in vehicle vertical direction and a support structure provided below the floor panel with two longitudinal structures running in vehicle longitudinal direction and spaced from one another in vehicle transverse direction. Below the seat connection portion a cross member structure formed in one piece and corresponding to the total area of the seat connection portion is connected to the longitudinal structures located opposite in vehicle transverse direction.

Floor structure of a motor vehicle body

A floor structure of a motor vehicle body is provided. The floor structure has two frame rail arrangements essentially extending in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle body. The arrangements are joined together by a cross member essentially extending in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle body. A floor panel extends between the cross member and the two frame rail arrangements. A diagonal reinforcement is located above the floor panel and abuts against the cross member in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle body. A reinforcing element essentially extends in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle body between the two frame rail arrangements. The diagonal reinforcement abuts against the reinforcing element in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle body.

A support structure for a motor vehicle body includes, but is not limited to a longitudinal girder extending between an engine compartment and a wheel installation space, a wheel installation strut extending over the wheel installation space, an engine frame, an attached bracket protruding downward on the longitudinal girder, which supports the longitudinal girder on the engine frame, and a one-piece reinforcement element, of which a first arm flanks the bracket and a second arm extends in the direction of the wheel installation strut.

A floor structure of a motor vehicle body is provided that has two side member arrangements substantially extending in vehicle longitudinal direction, which are interconnected by way of at least one front cross member and one rear cross member, and with a floor panel arranged above the cross members, which is provided with a reinforcing element substantially extending in vehicle longitudinal direction and arranged above the floor panel, which is structurally connected to at least one front cross member and to one rear cross member.
