A lubricating device lubricates a circulating clothing of a machine for manufacturing a fibrous web. The device has a body with a feed chamber that has an inlet for supplying a pressurized liquid lubricant to the feed chamber and an outlet for discharging the lubricant therefrom. The body further has a nozzle chamber to which a nozzle for discharging the lubricant is connected. The nozzle has a flow-conducting connection to the feed chamber via the nozzle chamber and the outlet. Within the body, a diffuser is provided for diffusing the lubricant supplied through the outlet along the body, the diffuser being arranged between the outlet and the nozzle.

A water jet cutter for separation of a trim strip from a moving paper, cardboard, tissue or other type of fiber web, in a machine for the production and/or conversion of the fiber web, including at least one nozzle whose water jet is directed onto the fiber web. An advantage of the present invention is to simplify the construction of the device while maintaining at least equal operational reliability, and to enable installation above a pulper in order to eliminate the necessity for removal and extraction systems.

At least one transport belt is guided with the web around the rolls and is characterized by the fact that a metallic screen is guided between the web and the respective roll surface. The metallic screen may be formed of metal, formed as a metallized drying screen, or formed from metal and synthetic threads.

Device and method for transferring a threading strip or a material strip

Process and apparatus for transferring a traveling material web into a target region. The process includes positioning at least two cutting mechanisms at one of a same and different width positions between web edges of a traveling material web. The at least two cutting mechanisms are movable relative to the traveling material web in a plane approximately parallel to the material web. The process also includes cutting the traveling material web at the one of the same and different width positions, thereby forming at least one resulting cut that extends approximately parallel to a web travel direction, and forming a substantially pointed beginning of a transfer strip by moving at least one of the at least two cutting mechanisms in a direction toward one of the web edges from its respective width position. In this manner, the resulting cuts of the at least two cutting mechanisms occur at one of a same and a substantially close proximity to a same width position. The apparatus includes at least two cutting mechanisms which are movable relative to the traveling material web in a plane approximately parallel to traveling material web, and the at least two cutting mechanisms are positioned to cut a transfer strip that extends approximately parallel to a web travel direction. The at least two cutting mechanisms are positionable at one of a same and different width positions between web edges of the traveling material web to produce at least one resulting cut in the traveling material web, and at least one of the at least two cutting mechanisms is movable toward an edge of the traveling web to form a pointed beginning of a transfer strip. In this manner, the resulting cuts of the at least two cutting mechanisms occur at one of a same and a substantially close proximity to a same width position.

Process and device for transferring a traveling material web

A process and apparatus for cleaning a transport belt of a machine for the production or processing a web. The apparatus includes at least one nozzle device composed of a rotatable nozzle head having at least one cleaning nozzle, a transport device including a crosspiece extending substantially crosswise to a transport belt travel direction, in which the at least one nozzle device is coupled to the transport device and adapted for displacement along the crosspiece. A traversing speed of the nozzle device is very low and falls within a range of between approximately 1 mm/min and 10 mm/min. Alternatively, the at least one nozzle is positionable in a plurality of cleaning positions that are successively arranged crosswise to the transport belt, and the at least one nozzle is held stationary in each respective cleaning position for a predefined time period. The process includes displacing the at least one cleaning nozzle at a very slow traversing speed within a range of between approximately 1 mm/min and 10 mm/min. Alternatively, the process includes discontinuously moving the at least one cleaning nozzle to a plurality of cleaning positions successively arranged in a transport belt travel direction, positioning the at least one nozzle to remain in the cleaning positions for a predefined period of time, and rapidly displacing the at least one nozzle between adjacent cleaning positions.

A device to clean a transport belt of a machine for manufacturing a material web, in particular paper or cardboard web, is provided which includes at least one nozzle that can impart a medium under pressure and is designed to rotate on a rotational axis. The device is characterized in that the rotational speed of the nozzle for a gentle cleaning of the transport belt lies in the range of from about 2500 rpm to about 4000 rpm, and for an intensive cleaning of the transport belt in the range of from about 1000 rpm to about 2500 rpm.

Cleaning device and process

Process for cleaning a transport belt of a machine for manufacturing and/or processing a material web with at least one cleaning device. The process includes detecting the contamination of the transport belt with at least one sensor, generating a state matrix which contains the location coordinates of the detected contamination, and one of controlling and regulating the at least one cleaning device for cleaning over at least a width of the transport belt with a varying desired intensity of cleaning in accordance with the generated state matrix.

Device for cleaning the conveyor belt of a machine for producing a cellulosic web. The cleaning device includes a spray unit for discharging cleaning fluid in the opening nip of a roll around which the belt is guided, or at the point where the belt leaves the roll.

A machine is provided for producing a continuous material web. In particular, a paper web or a cardboard web can be produced by the machine. The machine has a number of rolls, around which the material web is guided by the use of at least one belt. The belt has at least two zones. The zones have different properties with at least one of the zones being designed to transmit a drive force to the rolls of the machine.

Dryer section

A device for cleaning a conveyer belt, in particular a dry or wet sieve belt or a felt belt, of a machine for manufacturing a material web, in particular a paper or cardboard web, is disclosed. At least one nozzle that can be directed toward the conveyer belt for spraying this conveyer belt with a gaseous or liquid agent is provided, and the device also includes a bell-shaped cleaning hood surrounding the cleaning nozzle in a sleeve-shaped manner. At least one additional nozzle is provided in peripheral regions of the bell-shaped cleaning hood. A process for cleaning a conveyor belt of a machine utilizing the above device is also provided.
