A filter element analysis system for analyzing a filter element within a vehicle, the system including various filter sensors so as to provide information regarding various filter element parameters, a locator which configured provide vehicle position information such that conditions regarding the vehicle environment can be tracked and correlated to the location, as well as a means for transmitting information to a remote server for analysis and tracking of the filter element information with regard to environmental conditions such that a filter element status, remaining filter life, or particle load and replacement timeline can be calculated and updated so as to provide more accurate predictive models of the filter element conditions. As well as provide alerts regarding the need and scheduling of replacement or cleaning of a particular filter element.

Filter element analysis system and associated methods

A filter device has a compact filter made of a filter material that is wound spirally. A star filter that is made of a filter material that has folds arranged in a star shape surrounds the compact filter. The filter device has a cylindrical shape. A fluid to be filtered passes the compact filter in an axial direction and the star filter in a radial direction. The filter device is exchangeable and is mounted in a filter housing such that the compact filter and the star filter have a common raw side and a common clean side that are separated from each other.

The invention relates to a filter () having a drainage outlet (), which can be tightly connected to a connecting head (). It is proposed to use an insertion seal having radially opposite sealing surfaces of an outer seal () and an inner seal ().

Filter having a drainage connection

A filter is disclosed that includes a filter cup, a filter insert inserted into the filter cup and having a substantially cylindrical shape and a terminal disk arranged at an end face of the filter insert and connected to an end of the filter cup. The terminal disk includes a circumferential rim configured to engage the end of the filter cup and is provided with locking means that positive-lockingly connects the terminal disk and the filter cup.

Filter

A filter has a housing and a filter element with a first filter medium, wherein the filter element is arranged in the housing. A releasable lid is provided at an end face of the housing and closes off the housing. The releasable lid and the filter element together form a unitary component and the releasable lid forms a terminal disk at a first end of the filter element. The releasable lid forming the terminal disk of the filter element is glued to an end face of the first filter medium. The unitary construction of the filter element and the lid simplifies changing the filter element.

Filter, especially air filter

In a bypass filter unit, in particular, for filtering supplies of hydraulic oil in a bypass flow, comprising a motor-driven pump and a fixedly mounted filter housing closeable by a cover and containing an exchangeable filter element, it is proposed that the drive of the pump, the pump and the filter housing be arranged coaxially with one another, with the end of the filter housing that is closeable by the cover pointing upwards, that the filter housing be directly connected to the pump, and that the filter housing form a receptacle for the clean oil while the filter element is being changed, so as to enable changing of the filter element and renewal of the filter in a simple way and without risk of soiling the clean oil side.
