The invention concerns a suspension for load hooks, especially for lower blocks of cable controls, with a shaft mounted in a recess of a carrier body and able to turn about a vertical axis, which is mounted in a continuous bore of a support element and thrusts against the carrier body by means of at least one axial bearing. In order to create a short and simple construction of a suspension for a load hook, the invention proposes that the shaft of the load hook is mounted in the carrier body by a bearing arrangement consisting of the support element, at least one axial bearing, and the retaining ring surrounding the shaft, and the bearing arrangement is secured by a fastening element, especially a snap-ring, in the carrier body.

Suspension for load hooks

The invention concerns a cable block, especially a lower block for cable controls, with at least one cable roller enclosed by a shrouding cover with entry and exit openings for a carrying cable, wherein a cover element is inserted in the entry and exit opening, having an opening for the carrying cable. The opening in the cover element is smaller than the entry and exit opening in the shrouding cover. In order to create a cable block, especially for a cable actuator, with improved protection against accidents, it is proposed that the entry and exit opening be slot-like and the cover element can be shifted in the entry and exit opening.

Apparatus for limiting a travel path of running gears, in particular hoists, traveling along a running rail of a type having at least one flange and a web, includes a pair of side elements which are securable to opposite sides of the flange and provided with at least one buffer, and a clamping unit in the form of a tie element, for bracing the side elements together and pressing the side elements against the sides of the flange. In order to permit the travel path limitation apparatus to be useable above as well as below the running rail, the side elements have a first pair of aligned throughholes and a second pair of aligned second throughholes oriented parallel to the first pair of throughholes, whereby the tie element extends through the first pair of throughholes of the side elements in a first attachment position of the side elements and extends through the second pair of throughholes of the side elements in a second attachment position in which the side elements are rotated in a vertical direction by 180&deg;. The side elements are urged against one of the flange surfaces by tensioning members which bear upon the flange, whereby support members, positioned in the side elements, support the tensioning member.

Apparatus for limiting a travel path of a running gear, in particular of a hoist

A cable drive for a hoisting mechanism, including a carrying element having a recess, at least one of a top block and a cable end attachment, each of which has a horizontal swivel axle having two ends, and bearing elements swivelably mounted at both ends of the axle so that each of the bearing elements is rotatable by 180 degrees relative to its vertical central plane. The bearing elements are arranged in the recess of the carrying element, each bearing element having a laterally offset bearing bore in which the swivel axle is mounted so that movement of the bearing element causes a lateral parallel movement of the swivel axle.

A running wheel block, including a housing having at least one connecting surface for connection to a supporting framework, and further having two opposing, detachable side walls, two inwardly directed rotary bearing holding hubs, arranged in the housing, rotary bearings mounted in the hubs, and a running wheel mounted in the rotary bearings so that a section of its running surface projects from the housing toward at least one side. Each of the holding hubs is arranged on one of the two opposing side walls of the housing. The housing further includes at least one spacing holder arranged between the opposing side walls. The spacing holder forms a connecting surface. The detachable side wall has centering members that, when the side wall is attached to the housing, determine the position of the holding hubs relative to the running wheel axis.

Running wheel block

A running wheel block, including a housing having at least one connecting surface for connection to a supporting structure, two inwardly directed rotary bearing holding hubs arranged in the housing, rotary bearings mounted on the hubs, a running wheel mounted in the rotary bearings so that a section of its running surface projects from the housing toward at least one side and a cover connected to the housing so as to close the housing. The holding hubs include a first holding hub that is arranged on the cover. The cover has centering members for fixing a position of the holding hub relative to an axis of the running wheel when the cover is closed.

A measuring device including a substantially horizontal shaft having a longitudinal axis and a groove defined transverse thereto. The shaft is mounted with clearance in a substantially non-circular opening defined in the lateral supports of a supporting device, the clearance being provided at least in an area opposite the groove. A bearing pin is secured to the supporting device and partially engages the groove defined in the shaft, thereby axially and non-rotatably securing the shaft to the supporting device. A load measuring element is fixedly mounted to the supporting device and supports the end of the shaft longitudinally opposite the location of the groove. The load measuring element is preferably provided with wire strain gauges or microswitches, which permit simple measurement of the load. A pulley is rotatably supported by an annular pivot bearing for rotation about the shaft to transfer the load from the shaft to the bearing pin and load measuring element. Lateral support is provided to the supporting device by support plates which are attached by a spacer at their lower ends.

An electric drive with brakes, in particular for hoists, lifting devices or positioning transporting systems, having a brake disk which is movable axially on a motor shaft so as to rotate therewith via a toothing. The brake disk has brake faces at both sides and can be pressed against a stationary counter-brake disk by a spring force. An electromagnetic device is provided which, when connected to current, causes the brake to be released against the spring force. The electromagnetic device has a.c. magnets and E-shaped magnet coil yokes. The counter-pole faces associated with the coil yokes are arranged at magnet yokes which can move angularly on all sides so that the counter-pole faces can be aligned at the end faces of the E-shaped magnet coil yokes located opposite thereto when current is applied to the a.c. magnet.

A displacement armature motor is formed such that the deformation element allows a larger axial shifting and displacement path of the displacement armature while requiring a lower construction precision. The deformation element includes two frames (17, 17a). The frame (17a) is connected via two of its corner attachment positions (17b) to an attachment plate (19). The attachment plate (19) is connected to an extension (31) of the displacement armature. The frame (17) is connected with two of its attachment positions to the carrier arms (15a) of the support ring (15). The two frames (17, 17a) are connected to each other with their respective remaining corner attachment positions (17c) via a transfer element (18).

The rotor is held on a shaft by means of a membrane providing an easy resilient deflection in axial direction and being stiff for torque transmission in azimuthal direction. The membrane is star-shaped, or has spiral arms or is of polygonal configuration. A membrane carrier is connected to a central part of the membrane or to polygon corner points; the rotor, through a sleeve extension of a short circuiting ring is connected to peripheral points of the membrane. The carrier is splined to or slip friction coupled to the shaft.

Measuring the load on lifting equipment

The disclosure relates to a claw clutch mechanism, comprising opposing, interengaged clutch halves, each having axially projecting claws extending into the other. Cylindrical elastic bumpers are interposed between adjacent claws to absorb shock and accommodate axial displacement of the clutch halves. The clutch halves are of pressure cast aluminum construction, formed to provide large radius transitional fillets or roundings at the base of the claws, which correspond in radius to the contours of the cylindrical elastic bumpers. Integral reinforcing rings connect the angularly arrayed claws of each clutch half, both on the outside and the inside of the claws, to provide mechanical support for about half the length of the claw. The reinforcing rings also serve to confine the elastic bumpers, and may be provided with opposed flat surfaces at positions corresponding to bumper locations. The elastic bumpers, which advantageously are formed of a Polyamid plastic, may be connected by an integral bridge ring, accommodating limited torsional displacement of the individual bumper elements. Typically, all of the bumpers will be held in one clutch half, being retained therein by crescent shape spring levers carried by the claws of that clutch half.

Claw clutch

The invention refers to a load test apparatus for hoisting units by means of strain gages, where the test data affect the transmission of a hoisting unit motor. That is, a load test cell is positioned between the fixed support for the hoisting unit and the hoisting cable. The cell is mounted with an upper bolt connecting it to the fixed support and a lower bolt connecting it to the fixed support and the hoisting cable. In the area between the two bolts the flat cell is of restricted cross section and test gages are mounted here to monitor tensile forces in the cell according to the load. The gages are connected, in turn, through a bridging circuit incorporating resistances to the hoist drive. Because of the simplicity and size of the test structure, it can be manufactured economically by simple mass production techniques.
