A passenger motor vehicle with a lower portion that includes a front axle and a rear axle non-yieldingly interconnected with each other at least in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and an upper portion separate from the lower portion and including at least the passenger space, which is pivotal with respect to the lower portion at least in relation to an axis of instantaneous rotation extending in the vehicle transverse direction; the upper and lower portions are thereby connected with each other within the area of their axles by way of at least one support which has an elastic yieldingness in at least one direction.

Passenger motor vehicle

A passenger motor vehicle with a vehicle body means and with two axles carrying the body, and in which the body is supported with respect to at least one of the two axles by way of elastic axle guide elements and is rotatable at least with respect to this one axle about an axis of instantaneous rotation extending generally in the vehicle longitudinal direction and disposed at least approximately at the height of its center of gravity; the axle guide elements thereby form simultaneously spring elements for the vertical spring system of this one axle while the axle guide elements are of such construction that the vehicle body is transversely displaceable in a translatory manner with respect to this axle.

A sign, for example, in the form of the company's trademark which is constructed as radiator figure adapted to be recessed and tilted by a force of predetermined magnitude; the radiator figure thereby normally projects above the body of the motor vehicle, particularly above the radiator or engine hood and is so constructed that the base of the radiator figure is mounted in a recess provided in the engine hood and carries a joint which permits a tilting over of the radiator figure into the recess so that neither parts of the radiator figure nor of the base thereof project beyond the edges of the recess.

A shock-absorbing front wall for motor vehicles, especially passenger motor vehicles which includes several sections, arranged one above the other, of padded parts projecting into the vehicle interior and permanently deformable by the impact of a vehicle passenger caused by an accident; these sections which are arranged one above the other thereby possess different rigidities and/or thicknesses of the padding layer matched to the impinging body portions; an inflatable gas cushion may also form part of a respective section.
