A seat-track assembly is provided and may include a first track member having a series of locking features and a second track member slidably supported by the first track member. The seat-track assembly may also include a locking mechanism having locking pawls movable between a locked state engaged with the locking features to restrict relative movement between the first and second track members and an unlocked state disengaged from the locking features to permit relative movement between the first and second track members. The locking pawls may each include locking elements that are received within respective ones of the series of locking features in the locked state such that the locking elements restrict relative movement between the first track member and the second track member in two directions when the locking pawls are in the locked state.

Seat-track assembly

A seat-track assembly is provided and may include a first track member having a series of locking features and a second track member slidably supported by the first track member. The seat-track assembly may also include a locking mechanism having at least two locking pawls movable between a locked state engaged with the locking features to restrict relative movement between the first and second track members and an unlocked state disengaged from the locking features to permit relative movement between the first and second track members. The at least two locking pawls may each include at least two locking elements that are received within respective ones of the series of locking features in the locked state such that each of the locking elements simultaneously restrict relative movement between the first track member and the second track member in two directions when the locking pawls are in the locked state.

An adjustable seating apparatus for a recumbent stepper includes a seat base mounted to a carriage, which is mounted for longitudinal translation along a guide track. The seat base can be rotatable relative to the carriage. The seat base includes a first handle for releasing the carriage from an elongate positioning member to adjust the longitudinal position, and a second handle for releasing the seat base from a positioning plate to adjust the rotary position of the seat base relative to the carriage. When the seat base has been rotated from its nominal position, the carriage will generally be prevented from being released from the elongate positioning member.

Seating system for a recumbent stepper

A recliner mechanism () includes a first member () rotatably supported with respect to a second member (). The recliner mechanism () also includes at least one locking arm member () movably located between the first and second members. The locking arm member is configured to lock the position of the first and second members with respect to one another. The recliner mechanism further includes an inner ring member for establishing the range of relative motion between the first and second members. The inner ring member is located on either the first or second member. The recliner mechanism further includes at least one disc member () located between the locking arm member and a cam member (). Actuating the cam member engages or disengages the locking arm member to lock and unlock the first and second members. The first and second members have a plurality of stop members formed therein for engagement with a portion of the inner ring member to define the limits of travel of the recliner mechanism.

Rotary recliner mechanism

A tumble forward seat having mounting brackets that are rigidly attachable to a motor vehicle body and which establish a pivot axis for the seat frame. The brackets are releasably attached to a pair of front mounting pins in the vehicle body floor to hold the brackets stationary in the vehicle. The seat assembly frame then pivots about the mounting brackets from a generally horizontal use position to a tumble forward stowed position to increase the cargo capacity of the vehicle. When rotated forwarded to the up-tilted position, the rear legs of the seat rotate into the envelope formed by the seat frame to avoid leaving the rear legs projecting into the cargo space.

Tumble forward seat

A vehicle seat assembly having an integral child seat and a seat back which is rotatably mounted. An interlock is provided between the child seat and a latch for the rotating seat back to prevent release of the seat back latch when the child seat has been deployed and conversely, when the seat back latch has been released, the interlock prevents deployment of the child seat.
