A device for locking end positions of switch parts, having two parts, relatively axially displaceable and positively coupled in at least one direction, including a tube and a rod guided within the tube, at least partially arranged in an outer tube. Locking members cooperate with the parts and outer tube and are displaceable into a locking position in the outer tube's recess. Locking members include ring segments chamfered on insides forming first abutment surfaces converging obliquely toward rod axis. First abutment surfaces cooperate with oblique counter abutment surfaces in a rod recess for holding the rod and the tube coupled during the rod's first displacement path and for urging segments outwardly to emerge from rod recess, and to slide onto the rod's outer surface adjacent rod recess and to immerse into locking position in the outer tube's recess upon rod movement relative to the tube over a second displacement path.

Device for locking the final positions of moving switch points

In a switch actuator for movable frogs (), comprising at least one cylinder piston unit () having a defined preset piston stroke, the cylinder piston unit () is connected with bearings () capable of being displaced in the axial direction of the piston stroke, which bearings are connected with a stationary substructure for the adjustment of a defined center position of the piston stroke and the driver for the movable frog (). The driver for the movable frog () is coupled with the cylinder piston unit () with first stops () displaceable in the axial direction being interposed.

A method for installing railway switches in tracks is characterized in that the switch completely preassembled in functional units () is transferred onto a transport vehicle, and that the tongue region, the rail interspace region and the core region including preassembled sleepers (), the movable switch parts such as, e.g., the tongue device and the safety devices are lowered on the installation site in the preassembled state and connected with the adjoining rails, whereupon the switch is ballasted and the track ballast is packed, the connection ducts for the switch mechanism and the switch safety devices are connected and the switch is put into operation. The actuating drives () are connected to the movable switch parts such as, e.g., tongues () in a manner pivotable about an axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the rails with elastic connection elements and/or crowned bearings () being interposed.

Method for installing points in railway tracks and points for carrying out said method

The invention pertains to an end position detector for movable switch parts () which comprises a rod assembly and a housing (), into which the rod assembly penetrates and in which at least one sensor for sensing an end position of the rod assembly is arranged. According to the invention, the rod assembly is connected to the movable switch part () such that it can be pivoted in a vertical plane that lies transverse to the longitudinal direction of the rails, wherein the rod assembly comprises at least one rod () of circular cross section, and wherein said rod () in its region that penetrates into the housing () in a sealed fashion carries on its periphery at least one switching flank () that cooperates with a switch contact ().

The invention relates to a device for displacing and locking movable switch parts (), comprising a hydraulic piston, which is formed by a rod () and cooperates, via coupling or locking members (), with an axially displaceable sleeve () intended to receive the radially displaceable coupling or locking members (), The displaceable sleeve () is coupled with the movable switch parts () and an externally arranged tube (), at least partly overlapping the sleeve () and the rod ().
