A gathering and pressing device for a folded box gluing machine has two machine-width, circulating conveyor belts which are connected to a drive and whose conveying runs are disposed horizontally, one above the other and running parallel to each another. An upper conveying run of the lower conveyor belt being mounted such it can be moved vertically with respect to the lower conveying run of the upper conveyor belt in order to press the folded blanks. Both the lower conveyor belt and the upper conveyor belt having their own drive which includes a servomotor with a resolver connected directly to the respective drive roll.

Gathering and pressing device for a folded box-gluing machine

Known folded box gluing machines for producing folded boxes () from blanks comprise&#x2014;a folding station (), in which the parts of blanks provided with an adhesive strip are folded,&#x2014;an adjoining transfer station () which is configured as a transport device and has at least two conveyer belt pairs, each consisting of an upper and a lower belt () and a device for ejecting defective boxes () and&#x2014;a collection and pressing device (), in which the flat folded boxes are pressed together, in order for the adhesive to bind. In order to eject wide boxes () from the machine, which have been identified as defective, the ejection device comprises the following elements:&#x2014;at least one blade () which cuts in the direction of transport and which is mounted at the beginning of the transfer station () between the two conveyer belt pairs (), in such way that it can be lowered into and withdrawn from the direction of transport of the boxes (), and a device adjacent to each longitudinal side of the transfer station () for laterally removing the box side sections () from the machine, which have been separated during the longitudinal cut.

Folded box gluing machine for producing folded boxes from blanks

A device for isolating stacked blanks with at least one blank stop and at least one conveyor belt. The object of the invention is to ensure as complete a contact as possible between even a curved blank and the conveyor belt. An auxiliary suction component, which can be telescoping, is accordingly positioned next to and extending over the conveyor belt and intercepts the undermost blank.

Device for isolating stacked blanks

An apparatus for forming a regular stack of folding boxes wherein each box has unequal thicknesses at the end portions thereof. The apparatus has a conveyor belt for feeding the boxes and an upper and lower stacking station situated on two different planes. The boxes are fed from the conveyor belt only to the upper stacking station to form a partial stack thereon with light thickness ends in superposition. The partial stack from the upper stacking station by disposing a turntable from the lower stacking station vertically beneath the upper stacking station, providing displaceable floors in the upper stacking station to enable passage of a partial stack vertically downwardly to the turntable and mounting the turntable for rotation about a vertical axis to effect the stacking of successive partial stacks thereon with unlike thickness ends in superposition.
