The invention relates to a lubricating device, particularly for use in an apparatus which is used to lubricate mobile lubrication points e.g. on a rotating belt or chain belt. A lubricant discharge body of a lubricating head, which when lubricant is conveyed by a feed pump into a dosing chamber which is separated from the lubricant discharge channel, is placed in a front standby position and, counter to the effect of a restoring force, is moved into a locking and lubricant release position wherein the link between the pump and the dosing chamber is blocked by a reversing piston and the dosing chamber is fluidically connected to the lubricant discharge channel and a predefined volume of lubricant can be pumped out of the dosing chamber into the lubricant discharge channel. The lubricant discharge body cooperates with a reversing piston in such a way that the feed pump is fluidic ally connected to the dosing chamber of a dosing piston/cylinder arrangement via an annular area of the reversing piston when the lubricant discharge body is located in a front standby position, and such that the dosing chamber is fluidically connected to the lubricant discharge channel via the angular area when the lubricant discharge body is placed in a retracted position in which the lubricant is released. The reversing piston blocks the fluidic connection between the feed pump and the dosing chamber such that the amount of lubricant provided for discharge can be pumped out of the dosing chamber in the direction of the annular area by a dosing piston which is impinged upon by the feed pump.

Lubricating device and lubrication apparatus comprising said device

The invention relates to a lubricating device, particularly for use in an apparatus which is used to lubricate mobile lubrication points e.g. on a rotating belt or chain belt. A lubricant discharge body of a lubricating head, which when lubricant is conveyed by a feed pump into a dosing chamber which is separated from the lubricant discharge channel, is placed in a front standby position and, counter to the effect of a restoring force, is moved into a locking and lubricant release position wherein the link between the pump and the dosing chamber is blocked by a reversing piston and the dosing chamber is fluidic ally connected to the lubricant discharge channel and a predefined volume of lubricant can be pumped out of the dosing chamber into the lubricant discharge channel. Lubricating device and lubricating apparatus containing said device

A lubrication device lubricates traveling lubrication sites, such as on a belt (), in particular, on a roller or chain belt (). The lubrication device includes a lubricating apparatus () having a catch (C) that is capable of assuming a resting position and a catching position relative to the belt (). In the catching position, a lubricating head (D) of the lubricating apparatus () is moved to a lubrication site by relative lateral motion between the belt () and the lubricating apparatus () in order to supply lubricant to the lubricating site. At the end of the run path, the lubricating head (D) as well as the catch (C) moves relative to the belt () to return back to the resting position. Also, before or simultaneously while the catch (C) is brought into engagement with the belt (), the lubricating apparatus () can be extended in a longitudinal direction of the lubrication site motion at a boosting speed, which is greater than zero and less than the speed of the belt ().

Lubrication device

A non-return valve, particularly adapted for a medium distributor, for example a lubricant distributor, includes a valve body having therethrough a passage for the flow therethrough of a medium. The passage has an inlet end and an outlet end. The passage further has therein a valve seat and a constricted portion. The valve body is connectable to a medium outlet for supply of medium to the inlet end of the passage. A valve closing element is positioned within the passage and is urged toward the valve seat by a spring. A connecting mechanism enables a medium line to be connected to the valve body. The connecting mechanism includes a gripping element having an inner end that is spreadable outwardly upon insertion of the medium line into the element. The gripping element extends into the outlet end of the passage with the inner end of the gripping element being located at a position inwardly beyond the constricted portion of the passage.

Non-return valve with improved line connecting mechanism

A control system for a central lubrication system with an electrically operated lubrication pump for vehicles without their own power source, such as trailers, carriers for utility vehicle, etc., includes an electrical time-controlling device to activate the lubrication pump as a function of the operating time of the vehicle. Power is supplied to the time-controller device and the drive motor for the lubrication pump via the feed lines for the brake light. The time-controlling device has a sensor which detects motion of the vehicle or parts of the vehicle and generates a signal for a second timer during such motion. The second timer adds the durations of the signals sent from the sensor, compares the sum of the durations to a predefined pause time and, when the predefined pause time is exceeded, sends a signal to a third timer, which is thus enabled and in turn sends an enable signal for the activation of the drive motor of the lubrication pump during the next braking operation; the third timing signal adds the durations of successive braking operations during which the drive motor of the lubrication pump is activated, compares the sum of the durations with a predefined operating time and, upon reaching the predefined operating time, sends a signal to the second timer, whereby the enable signal sent from the second timer, and consequently also the enable signal for the activation of the drive motor of the lubrication pump, are cancelled.

Control system for a central lubrication system for vehicle

The invention relates to a multiple coupling for lubricating systems, preferably progressive lubricating systems of motor vehicles, especially tractor trailer units. The multiple coupling a plug box and a plug, with the help of which several lubrication pipes may be interconnected. In order that the plug box-plug-combination may be used for variable number of lubrication pipes, a special valve arrangement has been provided with the help of which the desired number of passages of lubrication pipes is opened or closed.
