An electromagnetically actuated gas valve () for gas engines () includes a valve seat () that has at least one flow-through opening () and a corresponding sealing plate (), with the sealing plate being movably arranged and guided essentially perpendicularly relative to the valve seat (), with barrier surfaces () and discharge openings (). The sealing plate () is loaded against the valve seat () by means of a return spring () and can be lifted for the purpose of opening it via a solenoid (). In order to allow for the secure sealing and easy switchability even in the presence of the effect of the combustion chamber pressure, the sealing plate () is arranged on the discharge side of the valve seat () and connected by means of a stamp (), which extends through the valve seat (), with the anchor plate () of the solenoid (). A Venturi tube meter () is arranged on the discharge side after the sealing plate () for the purpose of calibrating the flow-through correction value and for suppressing any dispersions due to manufacturing variations with regard to the effective flow cross-section, and the cross-section of the Venturi tube meter () is smaller than the sum of the effective flow-through cross-sections between valve seat () and opened sealing plate ().

Electromagnetically actuated gas valve

A gas valve with electromagnetic actuation, in particular a fuel-injection valve for gas engines, is provided with a sealing member which is actuable by way of the armature of a controllable electromagnet between the or each fuel supply and the or each fuel outlet and with at least one closure spring acting upon the sealing member. In order to provide a gas valve which has&mdash;at the same time&mdash;a large throughflow cross-section, exact operating and response times as short as possible and a low power consumption and which is also suitable for use in multi-point or ported-gas admission systems and in the case of supercharged engines, in particular in the case of gas engines for commercial vehicles or stationary gas engines, at least one device for compensating the differential pressure acting upon the sealing member is connected to the sealing member.

Gas valve with electromagnetic actuation

A gas valve with electromagnetic actuation, in particular for use as a fuel injection valve for gas engines, includes a sealing element (,), actuable by way of an armature (,) of a controllable electromagnet (,), between a or each fuel inlet (,) and a or each fuel outlet (,), and at least one closing spring (,) acting on the sealing element (,). In order to achieve very short switching and response times while at the same time having a large passage cross-section, and thus to render the gas valve suitable also for use in multi-point systems and in supercharged engines, in particular gas engines for commercial vehicles, the gas valve is designed as a flat-seat valve with a plane valve seat (,) and a sealing element (,) with at least one plane sealing surface facing this valve seat.

A gas valve with electromagnetic actuation, in particular for use as a fuel injection valve for gas engines, is provided with a sealing element (7), actuable by way of an armature (12) of a controllable electromagnet (19), between a or each fuel inlet (4) and a or each fuel outlet (24), and at least one closing spring (8) acting on the sealing element (7). In order to obtain an opening cross-section which can be simply and rapidly calibrated and adjusted in a certain range, an element (1, 2, 18) is present for adjusting the distance between the electromagnet (19) and the armature (12).

A valve lifter for compressor valves includes a carrier, and a plurality of fingers secured thereto, the fingers including a retaining element co-operating with the carrier so as to provide a positive fit. At least one retaining element incorporates a positioning element that established its position relative to the carrier, and a fixing element that snaps into position in the installation position on the carrier. It is preferred that the fingers be of long glass fiber reinforced polyamide, which permits a simple and secure connection of the fingers to the carrier that does not settle.

Compressor valve lifter

A device for reducing pressure in a compressor when it is in the idling and shut-down mode, in the induction manifold of which there is an induction control valve that controls the passage through the induction manifold, is provided with a bypass line that incorporates a closeable relief valve. The device for reducing pressure incorporates a spring-loaded pressure keeper valve that can be adjusted to the desired pressure, and an additional second relief valve that is arranged in parallel to the first relief valve. This second relief valve is acted upon by the pressure immediately upstream of the compressor in the induction manifold, and opens an additional relief path as soon as this pressure exceeds a pro-determined level when the compressor is shut down. The two relief valves and the pressure keeper valve can be incorporated into a common housing.

A device for regulating the delivery of rotary compressors, such as screw-type compressors with oil injection, comprises a regulating valve for varying the cross-sectional area of a suction pipe and a non-return valve which closes said suction pipe. The two valves are disposed one behind the other in the flow direction within a casing incorporating a suction pipe. In order to provide a low resistance to flow and to simplify the construction, both valves are in the form of flap valves with the flap of the non-return valve arranged to close a valve seat provided in the casing and being pivotable against a resetting force about an axis extending outside the cross-sectional area of the valve seat.
