The invention concerns a linear drive consisting of a primary part ( ) which can be arranged on a slider ( ), where the slider ( ) can be moved on a guide system, and a fixed secondary part ( ) which interacts with the primary part ( ) such that the slider ( ) can be moved on the guide system. Linear drive

A linear drive, comprising a primary part ( ) arranged on a slide block ( ), wherein the slide block ( ) is movable on a guide-rail system ( ), as well as comprising a stationary secondary part ( ), which operates together with the primary part ( ) in such a way that the slide block ( ) is movable on the guide-rail system ( ). Linear drive and process for assembly and dismantling of said linear drive

In a transfer line for the metal-cutting machining of workpieces, the transfer line including a plurality of machining stations arranged one after the other substantially in one plane. The workpieces are arranged in hanging fashion in such a way that clamping devices are arranged above the workpieces, thereby providing a falling and collecting space for the cuttings under the workpieces. Removal of cuttings is thereby facilitated and it is not necessary to flush the cuttings away using large amounts of coolant.

Transfer line

In a centre for machining workpieces, of the type comprising a machine frame, a machining table (6) for workpieces held on pallets (7) and a device (9) for pallet changing, it is proposed that the table (6) be arranged above the pallets (7), and the workpieces or a device (8) carrying the workpiece or workpieces project(s) downwards from the pallet during machining.

Machining center

A tool spindle for machining or producing elliptical surfaces, particularly elliptical bores, includes a housing (1) of two parts (31 32), a sleeve (2) rotatable mounted in the housing, a tool carrier shaft (3) rotatably mounted in the interior of the sleeve (2) for carrying a machining tool on the outer end thereof, the tool carrier shaft having an axis of rotation (13) in parallel spaced relationship with respect to the axis of rotation (12) of the sleeve, and a drive mechanism (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 18, 21, 30) for driving the tool carrier shaft and the sleeve at the same speed in opposite directions.
