A metering device serves as an equipping or retrofitting kit for a device for producing a three-dimensional object by means of solidifying, layer by layer, a building material in powder form at those positions that correspond to the cross-section of the object to be produced in the respective layer. The metering device has a metering element, which metering element is rotatable about an axis, preferably an axis of its own, particularly preferably about an, in particular its own, longitudinal axis and which is suitable for dispensing the building material in powder form in a metered manner. The metering element is designed to dispense locally different amounts of powder along the direction of the axis.

Metering device, device and method for additively producing a three-dimensional object

A metal cellular wheel () for a pressure wave supercharger comprising an outer sleeve () arranged coaxial to a rotational axis (y), an inner sleeve () arranged coaxial to the outer sleeve (), and at least one intermediate sleeve () arranged between and coaxial to the outer sleeve () and the inner sleeve (). Fins () are arranged between successive sleeves (), aligned radially to axis (y), and joined to adjacent sleeves (). On outer sleeve (), outer sealing sleeves () engage over the outer sleeve (), are joined with the outer sleeve (), and have a sealing profile () for a labyrinth seal. A drive shaft () along axis (y) is joined with the inner sleeve (), and the intermediate sleeve(s) () has (have) notches () extending, between adjacent fins (), from both end faces () of the cellular wheel ().

Cellular wheel, in particular for a pressure wave supercharger

A method for producing a cellular wheel, wherein a tool having a cylindrical inner shell, the diameter of which corresponds to the inner diameter of the subsequent sleeve, is placed on the free end edges of the fins for fixing the angular orientation of the fins. A molding material mixture is applied in the cells bounded by the inner shell of the tool and the fins and cured. After removing the tool, the subsequent sleeve is placed on the free end edges of the fins fixed in place by the cured molding material mixture. The free end edges of the fins are joined to the subsequent sleeve to the cells. The cured molding material mixture is thermally treated and is removed from the cells.

Method for producing a cellular wheel

In a method for producing a cellular wheel made of metal, the following steps are conducted consecutively: (a) providing a sheet metal strip () having a length () that corresponds at least to the length of a circumferential line of an intermediate sleeve and a width (b) that corresponds at least to the length of the cellular wheel; (b) placing disks () in predetermined locations in predetermined quantities on both sides of the sheet metal strip () perpendicular to the sheet metal surface and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the sheet metal strip () and connecting the disks () to the sheet metal strip () by welding or brazing; (c) bending the metal strip () equipped on both sides with the disks () and connecting the two ends of the sheet metal strip () by welding or brazing to form the intermediate sleeve; (d) placing a first tubular sleeve that is concentric to the intermediate sleeve as an outer sleeve, and a second tubular sleeve that is concentric to the intermediate sleeve as an inner sleeve, and connecting the free ends of the disks () to the outer sleeve or the inner sleeve by welding or brazing. The method allows cellular wheels to be produced which have material wall thicknesses of 0.2 mm and less for use in pressure wave superchargers.

The invention relates to a camshaft () comprising a shaft () onto which one or more annular cams (') are pushed and fixed in a positive and/or non-positive fit. To produce said camshaft in a particularly cost-effective, simple and flexible manner, the cams (&#x2032;) are produced from one or more strip sections by deformation, in particular by bending into an annular form and by the welding of the free ends.

Camshaft and method for producing a camshaft of this type

The invention relates to a camshaft comprising a tubular shaft () and cams () which are radially disposed thereon. Said cams () respectively engage with the shaft in a perfect fit () and the free surface () of the shaft forms the base circle of the cams (), whereby the cams () are respectively engaged in pocket-like recesses of the shaft ().

Zero belt camshaft

The invention relates to a method for producing cams () for a camshaft. The cams are produced by bending together the ends of long profile strips () or by bending and putting together several pieces of profile strips in a circumferential direction. Cams produced in such a way are preferably welded onto the shaft. The invention also relates to suitable welding methods such as resistance welding, laser-beam or electron-beam welding and corresponding devices.

Method for producing a cam for a camshaft

The invention relates to a method for assembling a camshaft by using a shaft () and a plurality of cams () comprising respectively an opening for the shaft. According to the invention, the cams are disposed in a tight manner in a storage element (), in such a way that they are orientated towards each other in a predefined rotative position, the openings thereof for the shaft being orientated in a coaxial manner. The shaft is then introduced into the cam packet and arranged consecutively with respect to each individual cam by displacement in the longitudinal direction thereof. The cams are secured one after the other on the shaft. The required rotation of the cams can be obtained in a simple manner by longitudinal displacement of the shaft and also by optionally rotating the shaft at a certain angle.

Method for assembling a camshaft

A camshaft has a cylindrical shaft () and a hollow, cylindrical cam (). The hollow, cylindrical cam () is pushed onto the cylindrical shaft () and securely fixed to the cylindrical shaft () in terms of rotation and displacement. The hollow, cylindrical cam () is provided with a foot strip () that borders the cylindrical shaft () on one side and is welded to the cylindrical shaft () along, and through, the foot strip ().
