A system for a motor vehicle for heating and/or cooling a battery and a motor vehicle interior is provided that includes a first coolant circuit thermally coupled to the battery, a second coolant circuit for heating the motor vehicle interior having an air heat exchanger for outputting heat from the second coolant circuit to the air of the interior of the motor vehicle, and a heating unit for heating the second coolant circuit. The first coolant circuit and the second coolant circuit are thermally coupled to each other for heating the battery using heat from the second coolant circuit and/or for cooling the air of the motor vehicle interior, in that heat from the second coolant circuit can be fed to the first coolant circuit by the circuit heat exchanger or the mixing valve.

System for a motor vehicle for heating and/or cooling a battery and a motor vehicle interior

A heating device is provided with plates stacked one on top of another. At least one first fluid channel is formed in a fluid-tight manner between a first plate package with a first and a second plate. An electrical heating element is arranged between a first plate of the first plate package and an additional plate. The electrical heating element is accommodated between the two plates in a sealed manner and is electrically insulated, wherein an inlet-side and an outlet side fluid connection of the first fluid channel is arranged on the second plate of the first plate package. The electrical heating element has a connection device for electrical contacting, which is connected to the electrical heating element and protrudes through a window in the second plate of the first plate package, wherein the fluid connections and the window are arranged adjacent to opposing lateral edges of the second plate.

Heating device

The application relates to an induction heating device having a housing and a fluid duct. The fluid duct is arranged in the housing and has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. Inside the housing is an induction element which generates an alternating magnetic field and which is separated from the fluid duct in a sealed manner by at least one wall. The device also includes at least one metallic areal heating element arranged in the fluid duct which can be heated by the alternating magnetic field.

The disclosed air-conditioning system for a vehicle driven by a motor, has a refrigerant circuit with a plurality of heat exchangers through which a refrigerant can be conducted for an exchange of heat with the air which flows through them, and has a heat pump heat exchanger in which an exchange of heat with a coolant circuit, in which at least one coolant cooler is arranged, takes place. It is possible for the coolant cooler, in the heating mode, to be used as a heat exchanger for absorbing heat from the environment. It is possible for the coolant cooler to be connected in series downstream of the heat pump heat exchanger in the coolant circuit A method for regulating such an air-conditioning system is also disclosed.

Cooling system for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to an air-conditioning system for a motor-driven vehicle, having a refrigerant circuit () with a plurality of heat exchangers () through which a refrigerant can be conducted for an exchange of heat with the air which flows through them, with it being possible for the heat exchangers () to be operated as heaters or as evaporators as a function of the operating state of the air-conditioning system, and at least one third heat exchanger () is provided in the refrigerant circuit (), which third heat exchanger () serves for an exchange of heat with a coolant circuit () which is formed separately from the refrigerant circuit (). The vehicle can be both a motor vehicle and also a fuel-cell-driven vehicle.

The invention relates to a method for regulating a coolant circuit () of a vehicle air conditioning system (). According to said method, a target value (SW(VT)) for an evaporator temperature (VT) is predetermined in a base control circuit. Said value is used to determine a control value (U) for controlling the evaporator temperature (VT) by means of an evaporator temperature regulator (). Said control value is also fed to a ventilator fan controller ().

Method and device for regulating a coolant circuit of a vehicle air conditioning system

A control device for gas is provided with a pivotable flap mounted between side walls of a guide duct. A receiving pocket for the insertion of a drive element (motor) is provided on one of the side walls and is oriented in such a way that, after insertion, the output shaft of the drive element is in engagement with the flap. This receiving pocket may be arranged so that the drive element is inserted coaxially with respect to the pivot axis of the flap or transversely thereto, or if the receiving pocket extends into the interior of the duct, the pivot flap is provided with a corresponding cut-out.

Flow control device for gas stream

A flap provided with an integral motor-containing drive element provided with an integral motor-containing drive element for controlling the air flow through an air-guide duct in, for example, a motor vehicle air condition system which includes a housing defining an air flow duct, an evaporator located in the housing, a heater located in the housing. The flap is adapted to be pivoted about and axis and is supported at each of its axial ends. One end is provided with a cut-out or recess which extends inwardly from one end along the axis of rotation. This cut-out or recess has opposed edges which engage in slots formed in holding means or housing that encloses the drive element, and which permit the ready insertion of the drive unit into an operative position.

Flap for an air-guide duct

Disclosed is a heating and/or air-conditioning system for a vehicle and a method for adjusting a recirculating air fraction of the inlet air delivered to a passenger compartment of a vehicle in order to avoid exceeding a predetermined limit value of at least one air parameter, in particular the carbon dioxide fraction and/or the humidity in the passenger compartment air. The method provides that one or more secondary parameters be obtained and analyzed for indirect determination of the air parameter, and that the recirculating air fraction be adjusted as a function of the analysis.

Method for adjusting the recirculating air fraction of the inlet air delivered to a vehicle passenger compartment

The invention relates to a method and system for controlling a compressor in a refrigerant circuit of an air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle. The instantaneous load torque is determined and compared with a maximum limiting torque prescribed by an engine controller, and the compressor is controlled depending on the comparison value resulting therefrom. In order to avoid complete shutdown of the compressor, the instantaneous load torque is represented as a function of variables, such as compressor speed and high pressure of the refrigerant, and, using an inverted function belonging to this function, a control signal for the compressor, for example, a set-point value for the high pressure of the refrigerant, is determined as a function of the maximum limiting torque and employed to control the compressor.

Method and system for controlling a compressor

An optimized CO air-conditioning system for a vehicle has individual components designed and/or matched to one another in such a way that if the high pressures in the high-pressure section deviate by up to &plusmn;30% from the optimum high pressures, the associated optimum performance figures are reduced by no more than 20%. The individual components include a controllable compressor, a gas cooler, an internal heat exchanger, an evaporator and an accumulator. As a result, a fixed throttle expansion member can be used between the high-pressure and low-pressure sections of the system.

Optimized CO2 operated air-conditioning system

An air-conditioning system operated with CO for a vehicle has a high-pressure section that is connected to the output of a compressor and includes a gas cooler, a low-pressure section that is connected to the suction side of the compressor and includes an evaporator, and an expansion member connecting the high-pressure section and the low-pressure section. The expansion member has a fixed restrictor with a throttle opening of predetermined length and diameter connected between an inlet from the high-pressure section and an outlet to the low-pressure section whereby under all operating conditions of the system, a pressure of refrigerant in the high-pressure section of the system is limited to values of less than 14 MPa. The restrictor can be connected in parallel with a pressure limiting valve and can include two or more different throttle openings that can be selectively connected for refrigerant flow.
