An aspect includes a low slope electrode device, including: at least one electrode; at least one container at least partially enclosing the at least one electrode and having at least one ion sensitive region; an external buffer container having at least one separating element that separates said at least one ion sensitive region into: a first ion sensitive area separating an internal buffer solution bathing the at least one electrode and an external sample solution; and a second ion sensitive area separating the internal buffer solution bathing the at least one electrode and an external buffer solution; wherein the at least one separating element, the first ion sensitive area, and the second ion sensitive area establish a charge flow circuit. Low slope pH electrode with charge transfer component

A low-slope pH electrode () is provided according to an embodiment of the invention. The low-slope pH electrode () includes an electrode body (), a pH-sensitive glass () fused into the electrode body (), with the pH-sensitive glass () including a predetermined area, and a mask () formed over a predetermined portion of the predetermined area of the pH-sensitive glass () in order to form a low-slope pH characteristic. At least a portion of an ion exchange performed by the pH-sensitive glass () is blocked by the mask ().

Low-slope pH electrode

A multiple-electrode ion meter () is provided. The multiple-electrode ion meter () includes meter electronics () configured to receive a plurality of ionic concentration voltage measurements and generate an ionic concentration measurement from the plurality of ionic concentration voltage measurements and three or more individual electrode units () in communication with the meter electronics (). The three or more electrode units () generate the plurality of ionic concentration voltage measurements to the meter electronics ().

Multiple-electrode ionic probe

A process analysis system includes sensors and a processing system. The sensors monitor the process to generate sensor signals. The processing system processes the sensor signals to detect a deviation from a baseline for the process. The processing system generates a process vector for the deviation in response to detecting the deviation. The processing system compares the process vector to a plurality of library vectors to classify the deviation. In some examples, the process comprises a system that supplies water.

Classification of deviations in a process

An apparatus for measuring tubidity of a liquid has a tubular lens of transparent material with an aperture for receiving the liquid. First and second first light emitters are positioned adjacent the tubular lens to produce two beams of light each diverging at a predefined angle and impinging the tubular lens. The tubular lens refracts the diverging beams of light from the two light emitters into separate collimated beams within the aperture. A first light detector positioned adjacent the tubular lens diametrically opposite to the first light emitter and a second light detector positioned diametrically opposite to the first light emitter and a second light detector positioned diametrically opposite to the second light emitter. Each light detector produces a signal indicating an intensity of light received from within the tubular lens and the signals are process to derive a turbidity measurement.
