The present invention relates to a pick, in particular, a round shaft pick, having a pick head and a pick shaft, having a support element which has a centering lug on the underside thereof, wherein the centering lug has a centering surface which extends inclined with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the pick and merges into a seat surface. To this end circumferential channel according to the present invention is disposed in the transition region from the centering surface to the seat surface and the depth of the channel relative to the seat surface is greater than or equal to 0.3 mm. The pick has an optimised rotatability and thus a low wear.

Pick, in particular a round shaft pick

The present invention relates to a pick, in particular, a round shaft pick, having a pick head and a pick shaft, having a support element which has a centring lug on the underside thereof, wherein the centring lug has a centring surface which extends inclined with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the pick and merges into a seat surface. The invention relates to a bit holder for an earth working machine, in particular a road milling machine, that comprises a bit receptacle in the region of a working side of a support member and that indirectly or directly carries an insertion projection on an insertion projection side of the support member, the support member comprising two stripping surfaces [first or second stripping surfaces] that form a stripping surface pair and are at an angle to one another. In order to achieve a stable and long-lived configuration with such a bit holder, provision is made according to the present invention that the support member comprises at least one further stripping surface that is at an angle to the two stripping surfaces of the stripping surface pair.

The invention relates to a bit holder having an insertion projection and having a bore-shaped bit receptacle that has a longitudinal center axis, a convexly curved support surface being provided on a base part. A bit holder of this kind can be implemented in compact and stable fashion in particular by the fact that the longitudinal center axis of the bit receptacle intersects the support surface.
