Using an analytical model, a problem related to a product is identified from a collection of report data, the product being a three dimensional (3D) solid having a shape and produced from a manufacturing process. The problem is correlated with a set of factors. The set of factors describes a circumstance in which a user performs an operation of the product. According to a weight assigned to the problem, the problem is selected for prototyping. Using a processor and a memory, the set of factors and the operation are simulated by using a modified design of the product. In response to the modified design solving the problem, a specification of the modified design is provided for 3D printing to the user.

Automated prototype creation based on analytics and 3D printing

Generating insight on a set of data is provided. A request for information regarding a specific topic is received from a client device corresponding to a requester. An analysis is performed on the request and a type of the information requested is determined based on the analysis. A set of information vendors is selected from a plurality of known information vendors based on the type of the information requested and other factors. Insights on the type of the information requested are obtained from the selected set of information vendors and an analysis is performed on the insights. A response to the request is generated based on the analysis of the insights on the type of the information requested that was obtained from the selected set of information vendors. The response to the request is sent to the client device corresponding to the requester.

Data analytics and insights brokerage service

A vehicle accident detection method and system is provided. The method includes receiving location coordinates associated with a location of an occurring vehicular accident. Data associated with possible causes of the vehicular accident is received from sensors. Traffic related rules associated with a geographical location are retrieved and analyzed with respect to the data. Parameters associated with at least one vehicle involved in the vehicular accident and a possible cause are determined via execution of programming logic and transmitted to additional systems. The possible cause for the vehicular accident is determined from all possible causes based on matching current and historical accident circumstances. Additionally, weighting factors may be available and adjusted over time for accurate accident detection. A possible cause comprising a greatest weighting factor may be used to identify a most likely cause.

Automated vehicular accident detection

Tools, methods and systems for filtering air, identifying contaminants in the air being filtered, collectivizing the contaminant data from a network of filtering systems to identify the source of the contaminant, allowing for real-time mapping of the flow of contaminants in the air and predictive location mapping. Filtration systems receive, analyze, identify, track and report the presence of contaminants in the air using one or more computing systems, or specialized air filtration systems which may be either a self-contained computing systems, connected to a computing system or connected to a computing network. Messaging services provide updates, alerts and reports regarding the presence of the contaminant to the general public and/or selective alerts to medically sensitive or endangered individuals whose medical information indicates the contaminant is harmful or dangerous to particular individuals present in the surrounding area.

Air quality monitoring, analysis and reporting system

A method and system implemented for generating a music recommendation intended to surprise and delight a user using data and computer analytics. The method and system collects and categorizes musical preferences using past preferences, user demographics, social media data and psychological variables which include the Big-5 personality traits of the user to generate a profile containing preferred musical parameters. The method and system categorize music based on different dimensions and compare music with a user generated profile containing preferred music parameters. The method and system may search for additional music across two vectors, parameters that closely resemble the preferred musical parameters, and outlying parameters that extend outside the preferred parameters, in order to locate and present musical recommendations that have similarities to the preferred music of the user, but variable enough to surprise and delight the user.

Detection of fraud in financial transactions is facilitated. A financial transaction is initiated by a user, and based on the financial transaction, information is obtained by an electronic device of the user. Using the information, the electronic device evaluates a set of rules personalized for the user; the set of rules to be used to determine whether the financial transaction is to be approved for the user. The electronic device provides an initial indication, based on the evaluating, of whether the financial transaction is to be approved.

Fraud detection employing personalized fraud detection rules

A method and system for analyzing customer feedback is provided. The method includes accessing a keyword and word mapping database and receiving consumer feedback data associated with a product or service. The consumer feedback data includes feedback data groups. Each group is divided into segments based on word analysis. Each segment is analyzed with respect to the keyword and thesaurus database. A score is generated for each segment and a composite score is generated for each feedback data group. Each composite score is stored.

Customer feedback analyzer

A method of predictively provisioning cloud resources based on human behaviors and heuristics includes monitoring a collection of events relating to a customer application as well as monitoring an infrastructure load on resources for the customer application. A causal relationship is evaluated between an event and the infrastructure load. A predictive rule is then constructed based on the causal relationship. Resource requirements are anticipated based on the predictive rule and a provisioning of resources in a service domain is requested for the anticipated resource requirements.

Predictive cloud provisioning based on human behaviors and heuristics

A system for predictively provisioning cloud resources based on human behaviors and heuristics includes a computer processor and logic executable by the computer processor. The logic is configured to implement a method. The method includes monitoring a collection of events relating to a customer application as well as monitoring an infrastructure load on resources for the customer application. A causal relationship is evaluated between an event and the infrastructure load. A predictive rule is then constructed based on the causal relationship. Resource requirements are anticipated based on the predictive rule and a provisioning of resources in a service domain is requested for the anticipated resource requirements, according to exemplary embodiments.

For a search query submitted by a user, a result set including a plurality of pages is obtained. A first and a second personality score of a first and a second page, respectively, is determined using a value of a personality trait of the user and a weight associated with the value, and at least one of (i) a personality score of a site from which a first page is obtained based on a personality analysis of another content on the site, and (ii) a personality score of an author of the first page based on a personality analysis of another content published by the author. The first page is ordered ahead of the second page when the first personality score exceeding the second personality score, even when the first page and the second page are equally relevant to the search query.
