A cutting tool, especially a plane blade head or plane blade shaft, includes a supporting body (,) having at least one recess (,) which is open radially to the outside, a wedge shaped clamping jaw (,) housed in the recess (,) and a blade (,) which can be fixed in its seat by means of the clamping jaw (,).
