A power screwdriver includes a housing having a vacuum chamber arranged to communicate with a source of sub-atmospheric pressure. The power screwdriver includes a motor, a bit drive spindle, and a bit supporting sleeve connected to the bit drive spindle. The rear end part of the bit supporting sleeve is surrounded by the vacuum chamber. The bit supporting sleeve is journaled by a bearing between a forward end part and a rear end part of the bit supporting sleeve. The bit supporting sleeve includes at least one longitude vacuum passage extending from its rear end part to its forward end part.

Power screw driver

A handheld electric power tool includes a drive train assembly arranged along a longitudinal axis of the tool, a housing adapted to receive the drive train assembly, and a retaining ring. The housing includes a first portion and a second portion adapted to form the housing, which has a conical outer surface portion having a substantially circular cross section. The retaining ring includes an inner surface having a conical inner surface portion adapted to cooperate with the conical outer surface portion such that a force is exerted on the first and second housing portions via the retaining ring as the conical inner surface and the conical outer surface are axially displaced with respect to one another, thereby urging the first and second housing portion together.

Handheld electric power tool

An electric power tool includes an electric motor with a motor gear, an output shaft with an input gear, a coupling that connects the motor gear to the input gear, and a housing that houses the motor, the motor gear, the coupling and the input gear. The coupling includes a shaft portion and two connective portions arranged at opposite ends of the shaft portion for connection to the motor gear and input gear, respectively. The motor gear and the input gear, each, have a cambered profile allowing a tilting movement of the coupling with respect to an axial position of one of the motor gear and the input gear that has a cambered profile.

Electric power tool

An electric power tool includes an electric motor, an output shaft, a housing that houses the electric motor and at least part of the output shaft, and a reduction gear drivingly arranged between the electric motor and the output shaft. The reduction gear includes a load sensitive part that is rotatable in response to reaction forces created during operation of the power tool. A torsion spring, arranged to counteract any such rotation, includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a first connective interface that is rotationally lockable to a connective interface of the load sensitive part, and the second end including a second connective interface that is rotationally lockable with respect to at least one of the housing and the motor. At least one of the first and the second connective interfaces includes an element for prohibiting axial movement between the connected parts.
