An electrical heating device () includes a housing () having a fluid inlet () for the intake of a fluid to be heated into the housing () and having a fluid outlet () for the discharge of the fluid from the housing (). A flow channel () for the fluid is formed between the fluid inlet () and fluid outlet (), and at least one heating instrument () extends into the flow channel () in the housing (). This heating instrument has a sleeve () that surrounds an interior of the heating instrument () in a fluid-tight way. At least one heating element () is arranged in the sleeve (), and at least one sensor element () is arranged in the sleeve () for monitoring the temperature of the at least one heating element ().

Electrical heating device

A thermoelectric temperature-control unit may include a first contact plate, a second contact plate, and at least one plate-shaped thermoelectric transducer. The thermoelectric transducer may have a first transducer side and a second transducer side facing away from the first transducer side. The thermoelectric transducer may be coupled to the first contact plate on the first transducer side and coupled to the second contact plate on the second transducer side. At least one of the first contact plate and the second contact plate may include a coupling zone on a respective inner side. A circumference of the coupling zone may be surrounded by a groove. A heat-conducting material may be arranged in the groove and along the coupling zone, and may directly contact the i) respective inner side and ii) one of the first transducer side and the second transducer side facing the respective inner side.

Thermoelectric temperature-control unit and temperature-control device

A heating device is provided with plates stacked one on top of another. At least one first fluid channel is formed in a fluid-tight manner between a first plate package with a first and a second plate. An electrical heating element is arranged between a first plate of the first plate package and an additional plate. The electrical heating element is accommodated between the two plates in a sealed manner and is electrically insulated, wherein an inlet-side and an outlet side fluid connection of the first fluid channel is arranged on the second plate of the first plate package. The electrical heating element has a connection device for electrical contacting, which is connected to the electrical heating element and protrudes through a window in the second plate of the first plate package, wherein the fluid connections and the window are arranged adjacent to opposing lateral edges of the second plate.

Heating device

A heat exchanger having at least one electrical resistance heating element, two conductors connected electrically to the electrical resistance heating element to conduct electric current through the electrical resistance heating element and thereby to heat the electrical resistance heating element, a heat-conducting element for transferring heat from the electrical resistance heating element to a fluid to be heated, an electrical insulating element insulating electrically the two conductors and the at least one electrical resistance heating element, and at least one tube. The two conductors, the electrical insulating element, and the electrical resistance heating element are arranged within a cavity bounded by the tube. The heat exchanger has an adapter plate and a tube opening, each being arranged at an opening of the adapter plate, and the at least one tube being connected fluid-tight to the adapter plate, which is connected fluid-tight to an electronics housing and/or an HVAC system housing.

Heat exchanger

Disclosed herein is a heat exchanger, comprising at least one electric resistance heating element, at least two conductors which are connected to the at least one electric resistance heating element in an electrically conductive manner in order to conduct electric current through the at least one electric resistance heating element and thereby heat the electric resistance heating element, at least one thermally conductive element for transferring heat from the at least one electric resistance heating element to a fluid to be heated, at least one electrically insulating element, which electrically insulates the at least two conductors, and at least one pipe, wherein the at least two conductors and the at least one electric resistance heating element are arranged within a cavity bounded by the pipe and the pipe lies on the at least one electrically insulating element under a compressive force at at least one contact surface.

The application relates to an induction heating device having a housing and a fluid duct. The fluid duct is arranged in the housing and has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. Inside the housing is an induction element which generates an alternating magnetic field and which is separated from the fluid duct in a sealed manner by at least one wall. The device also includes at least one metallic areal heating element arranged in the fluid duct which can be heated by the alternating magnetic field.

A heat exchanger device for a heater a motor vehicle, having a housing with at least one fluid channel disposed therein, with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, an element generating an alternating magnetic field, and at least one, preferably metallic, flat heating element around which a fluid can flow on one or both sides, whereby at least one further flat heating element is provided, which is configured to divide the at least one fluid channel into subchannels. A heater with a heat exchanger device is also provided.

Heat exchanger device and heater

A heater with a housing with a fluid channel, disposed therein, with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, whereby a coil, which generates an alternating magnetic field and is separated sealed from the fluid channel by a coil housing, is provided in the housing, whereby furthermore at least one metallic flat heating element is provided, which can be heated by the alternating magnetic field. The at least one flat heating element is disposed in the fluid channel, whereby the fluid channel is divided at least into a first channel and a second channel. Walls bounding the channels are formed by the coil housing and/or by a flat heating element.

Heater

The invention relates to an electrically operable heating device through which liquid flows, comprising a housing. The heating device comprises an electrically operable heating apparatus and a liquid chamber for accommodating a heat-transferring liquid. The liquid chamber has a plurality of plate pairs comprising plates connected to each other at specified distances from each other, whereby liquid flow channels can be created between the plate pairs. The electrically operable heating apparatus is designed as a heating combination having a plurality of heating elements, wherein the heating combination can be arranged between the liquid chambers by inserting the heating units into the accommodating spaces produced between the plate pairs.

Electrically operable heating device

An electrically operated heating device, in particular for a heating or air conditioning system of a vehicle, is provided, comprising a heating register with a layered heating element, for converting electrical energy into heat, and two electrically insulating and heat-conducting insulating layers, which respectively make contact, at least in certain regions, with one side of the layered heating element. The insulating layers and the layered heating element are braced with one another, an abrasion-counteracting sliding layer being arranged between at least one of the insulating layers and the layered heating element. Alternatively or in addition, at least one of the insulating layers and the layered heating element have, at least in the region of their mutual contact surfaces, a material pairing with which the abrasion of the contact surfaces goes below a predetermined limit value.

An electric heating device includes a plurality of heating elements which are assembled to form a block. Such a heating element is formed from two metal plates, with the interposition of PTC elements. In order to increase the heat transfer, the metal plates are provided with corrugation ribs. Each heating element includes a pair of metal plates which are angled off essentially in the form of an L such that the angled-off sections are connected in a frictionally locking manner to each other. The angled-off sections are arranged at opposite ends of the heating elements and angled in opposite directions, the length of the angled-off sections of the metal plates being dimensioned such that angled-off sections of one pair of metal plates are in mutual abutment with angled-off sections of respectively adjacent pairs of metal plates.

Motor vehicle electric heating device having angled off metal heating

A process for heating the passenger compartment (10) in a motor vehicle, particularly an electric vehicle, having a heating device (12), which is supplied with an air current (40) extracted, via a waste-air duct (11), from the passenger compartment (10). The air current enters into the passenger compartment (10) from the heating device (12) via an intake-duct (13). In order to prevent internal misting of the vehicle's windows, even with a low heating capacity, at least one partial air current (40a), which is branched off from the air current (40) prior to entry into the passenger compartment (10), flows through a sorbent (15) such as zeolite or the like.

Process and apparatus for heating the passenger compartment of a motor

An apparatus for heating and/or cooling a cabin, especially a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, a sleeping cabin of a truck, or the like. To the cabin there is respectively connected an intake-air duct and a waste-air duct. The apparatus includes a sorption reactor which is filled with zeolite, or the like, and through which an air-current flows via corresponding ducts. In the adsorption phase of the reactor, the air-current takes up adsorption heat and releases moisture. After being cooled down via a humidifier, the air-current cools the intake-air current to the cabin. In addition, a heating device is provided for heating up the air current for the desorption of the reactor, the heated air current being evacuated with the moisture taken up from the sorbent. In order to provide sufficient heating capacity, even at low external temperatures, without placing a load upon the sorption reactor, the air current is selectively made to flow through the heating device into either a duct to the reactor or directly as a heating-air current to the cabin via an air current control element.
