Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for inter-donor topology discovery in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network during migration of an IAB-node. A method that may be performed by a first IAB-donor includes establishing a first signaling connection with an IAB-node, receiving an indication that the IAB-node has a second signaling connection with a second IAB-donor, and in response to receiving the indication: transferring, to the second IAB-donor, information related to the IAB-node, re-establishing traffic between the first IAB-donor and the IAB-node via a topology of the second IAB-donor, or any combination thereof.

Inter-donor topology discovery in integrated access and backhaul (IAB)

In some aspects, a control node may receive, from a wireless node, a status report of an unlicensed band associated with an unlicensed channel access of the wireless node, wherein the status report indicates listen-before-talk (LBT) failures during the unlicensed channel access of the wireless node. The control node may transmit, to the wireless node, an updated configuration for unlicensed channel access based at least in part on the status report of the unlicensed band. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein support transitioning the radio resource control (RRC) state of a network controlled repeater (NCR). A distributed unit (DU) and a central unit (CU) may coordinate the release and resumption of the RRC connection of the NCR. The CU may transmit a control signal to the DU indicating to release the RRC connection of the NCR. The control signal may include a flag, such as an identifier of the NCR, and the DU may retain the identifier of the NCR. The DU may transmit a message indicating a release of the RRC connection to the NCR. The DU may coordinate the resumption of the RRC connection of the NCR by transmitting a second message to the CU. The second message may include a request to initiate a paging of the NCR and may include the identifier of the NCR.

Techniques for transitioning radio resource control state of a repeater

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may determine, when in communication with a plurality of other wireless nodes via a plurality of links of a network, a plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links, wherein the plurality of transmit powers are selected to control inter-link interference or to satisfy a maximum transmit power criterion. The wireless node may transmit, using the plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links, information, to the plurality of other wireless nodes, concurrently, based at least in part on determining the plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links. Power control for concurrent reception

In some aspects, a parent node in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network may transmit, to an IAB node having a mobile termination function (IAB-MT) and a distributed unit (IAB-DU), signaling indicating a set of restricted IAB-DU beams and associating the set of restricted IAB-DU beams with one or more IAB-MT beams, the set of restricted IAB-DU beams determined based on measurements related to interference caused by the IAB-DU and the IAB-MT performing a simultaneous operation in one or more simultaneous multiplexing modes. Additionally or alternatively, the parent node may perform scheduling for the IAB-MT based on signaling received from the IAB node that indicates beam-specific parameters related to a multiplexing capability for a beam pair that includes an IAB-MT beam and an IAB-DU beam associated with the IAB-MT beam. Signaling enhancements for simultaneous multiplexing in an integrated access and backhaul network

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) may transmit, to a second IAB donor CU, a resource configuration of a first cell served by an IAB node to initiate a migration of the IAB node from a first parent node to a second parent node serving a second cell associated with the second IAB donor CU. The first IAB donor CU may receive, from the second IAB donor CU, an indication that communications performed by the IAB node associated with the first cell will not conflict with communications with the second parent node serving the second cell. The first IAB donor CU may migrate the IAB node to the second parent node based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Migration of an integrated access and backhaul node

Aspects described herein relate to providing dynamic frequency division multiplexing (FDM) within a component carrier (CC) for use by integrated access and backhaul (TAB) nodes. A configuration can be communicated for each cell of the IAB node indicating multiple resource availability combinations with each resource availability combination corresponding to resource block (RB) sets over multiple slots. A downlink control information (DCI) indicating one resource availability combination of the multiple resource availability combinations for one or more cells of the IAB node can be communicated as well. The IAB node can communicate, in a slot, over one or more RB sets of the multiple configured RB sets in symbols indicated as available by the one resource availability combination.

Techniques for supporting dynamic frequency division multiplexing within carrier

In some aspects, an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may receive a data packet associated with a timing parameter. The IAB may insert a time stamp into the data packet, based at least in part on the timing parameter, the time stamp associated with a reference time that is known among one or more additional IAB nodes within a path associated with the data packet. Aspects relate to establishing a signaling connection between a radio access network (RAN) node and a first scheduling entity. The RAN node may communicate in a dual connectivity (DC) mode of operation with the first scheduling entity (e.g., a secondary gNB) using a first radio access technology (RAT) and with a second scheduling entity (e.g., a master eNB) using a second RAT. The RAN node and the first scheduling entity may support sending information for a first signaling connection between the RAN node and the first scheduling entity over a second signaling connection through the second scheduling entity (e.g., when the second signaling connection is more reliable than the first signaling connection). To establish the second signaling connection, the RAN node and the first scheduling entity may signal support for the second signaling connection and exchange Internet Protocol information for the second signaling connection.

Example implementations include a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium of wireless communication for a network node to transport signaling used to coordinate management of a RAN for local traffic between a first node and a UE across a wireless connection. The network node may establish a first wireless signaling connection between a first node and a second node. The network node may encapsulate or decapsulate traffic associated with a second wireless signaling connection within the first wireless signaling connection. The second wireless signaling connection corresponds to a non-F1 interface of a control plane or user plane network function that terminates at the first node. For instance, the network node may be a consumer premises equipment (CPE) serving a UE, a base station wirelessly serving the CPE, or a core network node providing control for the UE.

Signaling to support RAN management for local traffic

In some aspects, a node may configure whether a set of soft time resources is to be conditionally released or unconditionally released. The set of soft time resources may be configurable in a schedulable state or a non-schedulable state. The set of soft time resources may be schedulable subject to at most a directionality constraint when unconditionally released and, when conditionally released, being schedulable subject to: the directionality constraint and one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is configured subject to the directionality constraint, or at least one of the directionality constraint or the one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is not configured subject to the directionality constraint. The node may transmit a configuration that indicates whether the set of soft time resources is conditionally released or unconditionally released in the schedulable state.
