A second network node determines a backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) configuration associated with a backhaul traffic transport and including a topology identifier corresponding to a topology of a plurality of topologies for which traffic associated with the topology is transported based on the BAP configuration. The second network node sends, to a first network node, the BAP configuration associated with the backhaul traffic transport. The first network node receives a first BAP configuration associated with a first topology identifier (ID) corresponding to a first topology, and a second BAP configuration associated with a second topology ID corresponding to a second topology that overlaps at least in part with the first topology. The first network node determines with which traffic is associated routes traffic associated with the first topology ID based on the first BAP configuration, and traffic associated with the second topology ID based on the second BAP configuration.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein support transitioning the radio resource control (RRC) state of a network controlled repeater (NCR). A distributed unit (DU) and a central unit (CU) may coordinate the release and resumption of the RRC connection of the NCR. The CU may transmit a control signal to the DU indicating to release the RRC connection of the NCR. The control signal may include a flag, such as an identifier of the NCR, and the DU may retain the identifier of the NCR. The DU may transmit a message indicating a release of the RRC connection to the NCR. The DU may coordinate the resumption of the RRC connection of the NCR by transmitting a second message to the CU. The second message may include a request to initiate a paging of the NCR and may include the identifier of the NCR.

Techniques for transitioning radio resource control state of a repeater

In some aspects, a wireless node may determine, when in communication with a plurality of other wireless nodes via a plurality of links of a network, a plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links, wherein the plurality of transmit powers are selected to control inter-link interference or to satisfy a maximum transmit power criterion. Additionally or alternatively, the parent node may perform scheduling for the IAB-MT based on signaling received from the IAB node that indicates beam-specific parameters related to a multiplexing capability for a beam pair that includes an IAB-MT beam and an IAB-DU beam associated with the IAB-MT beam. Signaling enhancements for simultaneous multiplexing in an integrated access and backhaul network

In some aspects, a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) may transmit, to a second IAB donor CU, a resource configuration of a first cell served by an IAB node to initiate a migration of the IAB node from a first parent node to a second parent node serving a second cell associated with the second IAB donor CU. The first IAB donor CU may receive, from the second IAB donor CU, an indication that communications performed by the IAB node associated with the first cell will not conflict with communications with the second parent node serving the second cell. The first IAB donor CU may migrate the IAB node to the second parent node based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Migration of an integrated access and backhaul node

Aspects described herein relate to providing dynamic frequency division multiplexing (FDM) within a component carrier (CC) for use by integrated access and backhaul (TAB) nodes. A configuration can be communicated for each cell of the IAB node indicating multiple resource availability combinations with each resource availability combination corresponding to resource block (RB) sets over multiple slots. A downlink control information (DCI) indicating one resource availability combination of the multiple resource availability combinations for one or more cells of the IAB node can be communicated as well. The IAB node can communicate, in a slot, over one or more RB sets of the multiple configured RB sets in symbols indicated as available by the one resource availability combination.

Aspects relate to establishing a signaling connection between a radio access network (RAN) node and a first scheduling entity. The RAN node may communicate in a dual connectivity (DC) mode of operation with the first scheduling entity (e.g., a secondary gNB) using a first radio access technology (RAT) and with a second scheduling entity (e.g., a master eNB) using a second RAT. The RAN node and the first scheduling entity may support sending information for a first signaling connection between the RAN node and the first scheduling entity over a second signaling connection through the second scheduling entity (e.g., when the second signaling connection is more reliable than the first signaling connection).
