Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a parent node in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network may transmit, to an IAB node having a mobile termination function (IAB-MT) and a distributed unit (IAB-DU), signaling indicating a set of restricted IAB-DU beams and associating the set of restricted IAB-DU beams with one or more IAB-MT beams, the set of restricted IAB-DU beams determined based on measurements related to interference caused by the IAB-DU and the IAB-MT performing a simultaneous operation in one or more simultaneous multiplexing modes. Additionally or alternatively, the parent node may perform scheduling for the IAB-MT based on signaling received from the IAB node that indicates beam-specific parameters related to a multiplexing capability for a beam pair that includes an IAB-MT beam and an IAB-DU beam associated with the IAB-MT beam. Signaling enhancements for simultaneous multiplexing in an integrated access and backhaul network

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) may transmit, to a second IAB donor CU, a resource configuration of a first cell served by an IAB node to initiate a migration of the IAB node from a first parent node to a second parent node serving a second cell associated with the second IAB donor CU. The first IAB donor CU may receive, from the second IAB donor CU, an indication that communications performed by the IAB node associated with the first cell will not conflict with communications with the second parent node serving the second cell. The first IAB donor CU may migrate the IAB node to the second parent node based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Migration of an integrated access and backhaul node

Aspects described herein relate to providing dynamic frequency division multiplexing (FDM) within a component carrier (CC) for use by integrated access and backhaul (TAB) nodes. A configuration can be communicated for each cell of the IAB node indicating multiple resource availability combinations with each resource availability combination corresponding to resource block (RB) sets over multiple slots. A downlink control information (DCI) indicating one resource availability combination of the multiple resource availability combinations for one or more cells of the IAB node can be communicated as well. The IAB node can communicate, in a slot, over one or more RB sets of the multiple configured RB sets in symbols indicated as available by the one resource availability combination.

Techniques for supporting dynamic frequency division multiplexing within carrier

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may receive a data packet associated with a timing parameter. The IAB may insert a time stamp into the data packet, based at least in part on the timing parameter, the time stamp associated with a reference time that is known among one or more additional IAB nodes within a path associated with the data packet. Configuration of resource patterns for integrated access and backhaul

Aspects relate to establishing a signaling connection between a radio access network (RAN) node and a first scheduling entity. The RAN node may communicate in a dual connectivity (DC) mode of operation with the first scheduling entity (e.g., a secondary gNB) using a first radio access technology (RAT) and with a second scheduling entity (e.g., a master eNB) using a second RAT. The RAN node and the first scheduling entity may support sending information for a first signaling connection between the RAN node and the first scheduling entity over a second signaling connection through the second scheduling entity (e.g., when the second signaling connection is more reliable than the first signaling connection). To establish the second signaling connection, the RAN node and the first scheduling entity may signal support for the second signaling connection and exchange Internet Protocol information for the second signaling connection.

Example implementations include a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium of wireless communication for a network node to transport signaling used to coordinate management of a RAN for local traffic between a first node and a UE across a wireless connection. The network node may establish a first wireless signaling connection between a first node and a second node. The network node may encapsulate or decapsulate traffic associated with a second wireless signaling connection within the first wireless signaling connection. The second wireless signaling connection corresponds to a non-F1 interface of a control plane or user plane network function that terminates at the first node. For instance, the network node may be a consumer premises equipment (CPE) serving a UE, a base station wirelessly serving the CPE, or a core network node providing control for the UE.

Signaling to support RAN management for local traffic

In some aspects, a node may configure whether a set of soft time resources is to be conditionally released or unconditionally released. The set of soft time resources may be configurable in a schedulable state or a non-schedulable state. The set of soft time resources may be schedulable subject to at most a directionality constraint when unconditionally released and, when conditionally released, being schedulable subject to: the directionality constraint and one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is configured subject to the directionality constraint, or at least one of the directionality constraint or the one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is not configured subject to the directionality constraint. The node may transmit a configuration that indicates whether the set of soft time resources is conditionally released or unconditionally released in the schedulable state.

Conditional release of soft resources in an integrated access and backhaul network

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A control node may transmit, to a first relay node, an indication to communicate according to a first resource configuration of a set of resource configurations, where each resource configuration of the set is associated with a respective resource block set and a respective time domain pattern. In some examples, each time domain pattern may indicate, for each symbol of a respective set of symbols associated with each time domain pattern, a resource type associated with availability of each symbol for communication by the first relay node with a second relay node. The first relay node may communicate according to the first resource configuration based on receiving the indication to communicate according to the first resource configuration.

Supporting adaptive frequency domain resource configuration for a relay node

In some aspects, an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may receive a configuration that indicates multiple resource patterns for one or more slots, wherein each resource pattern corresponds to a different set of one or more resource block (RB) sets within the one or more slots, and wherein each resource pattern includes at least one of: a resource availability pattern that indicates at least one of hard resources, soft resources, or not available resources for one or more RB sets corresponding to that resource pattern, or a resource directionality pattern that indicates at least one of uplink resources, downlink resources, or flexible resources for the one or more RB sets corresponding to that resource pattern. Indication of a resource pattern for frequency division multiplexing within a component carrier for a wireless multi hop network

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication at a wireless device or integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node. In one aspect, the wireless device may determine a frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. The wireless device may also transmit an indication of the determined frequency synchronization accuracy for the wireless device. Additionally, the wireless device may determine an absolute frequency based on a combination of measurements from at least one synchronization source and a frequency of the wireless device, where the frequency synchronization accuracy is based on the absolute frequency.

Methods and apparatus for frequency synchronization communication

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A mobile integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may transmit, to an IAB supported network, an indication of IAB capability. The mobile IAB node may also indicate to the IAB supported network a mobility status associated with the mobile IAB node. The IAB supported network may conditionally determine authorization for the mobile IAB node based on the mobility status, a subscription status, or both. The IAB supported network may transmit, to the mobile IAB node, instruction to operate in an IAB mode and perform the IAB operation. The mobile IAB node may communicate with one or more devices based on the instruction.

Conditional authorization of mobile nodes

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a first wireless node in a wireless communications system are described. The techniques may enable a first wireless node (e.g., an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node in an IAB system) to establish a communications link with a second wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, via a reception beam of the first wireless node, an interfering signal from an aggressor wireless node. The first wireless node may perform an interference measurement of the interfering signal at the first reception beam. The first wireless node may transmit a report indicating the interference measurement to the second wireless node. The second wireless node may schedule communications based on the interference measurement. In some examples, the report may indicate one or more parameters of the interfering signal. In some examples, the report may correspond to one or more beams.
