The invention relates to a contact system for contacting an aluminium braid () to a contact element () comprising&#x2014;an electrically conducting cable (); &#x2014;the aluminium braid () comprising a plurality of aluminium wires, which is arranged to run at least in sections between a primary isolation () and a secondary isolation () of the electrically conducting cable (); &#x2014;die contact element () which can be pushed onto the electrically conducting cable () having an outer sleeve () and an inner sleeve () which can be inserted therein. To achieve a contact system which makes possible, in a simple fashion, a reliable contacting of an aluminium braid to a contact element without additional soldering systems being required, according to the invention the inner sleeve () has a first contact surface () and the outer sleeve () has a second contact surface (), wherein each contact surface () has areas of different size of cross-section and the contact surfaces () are designed in such a manner that the aluminium braid () is clamped in a contact position by the inner sleeve () being pushed axially inside the outer sleeve () and contact is made with the contact element ().

Contact system for contacting a braided shield and a contact element

Contact system for producing an electrically conductive contact between an aluminum conductor () and a contact component (). A housing () is provided, as well as a contact component () having a shearing-off section () and a tapered compression segment (), where the housing () has an insertion volume () for the aluminum conductor () and an insertion volume () for the contact component () and the two insertion volumes () overlap within the housing () and form a common overlapping volume () so as to enable, when the aluminum conductor () has been pushed into the insertion volume (), for the aluminum conductor (), the severing/shearing-off and cold welding of the aluminum conductor () with the contact component () by means of the contact component ().

Contact system

A connection element for an electrical conductor contains a first section to be connected to another component, and a second section having a front surface to be welded to an electrical conductor. The front surface has a three-dimensional form raised in a central region in relation to an edge region surrounding the central region. The connection element is hollow in the region of the front surface.
