A pressure sensor that is particularly suitable for the food industry and the measuring accuracy of which is stable over a long time, having a diaphragm seal with a separating diaphragm on which a pressure to be measured acts and having a ceramic measuring cell which is connected to the diaphragm seal exclusively by inorganic materials, is provided, in which sensor the separating diaphragm and all further sensor components coming into contact during measurement with a medium of which the pressure is to be measured are metallic.

A pressure sensor element for mounting in a connecting element comprises an isolator body with a laterally projecting membrane. The laterally projecting membrane covering an opening of a passage through which the pressure present at the surface of the membrane is conveyed to a pressure transducer element by means of a hydraulic fluid. In order to mount the pressure sensor element, it is secured in a mounting aperture of the connecting element. The projecting perimeter of the membrane is secured to the surface surrounding the mounting aperture of the connecting element by means of a continuous seam. A membrane type ring in combination with a conventional membrane may be substituted for the projecting membrane, wherein the membrane type ring covers the gap between the pressure sensor element and the adapter element.

Pressure sensor, and a method for mounting it

A pressure measuring device with a housing ( ) and a pressure measuring cell is provided, the pressure measuring cell being protected from interference, in particular independently of its installation position in the housing ( ), and comprising: a housing ( ), a pressure measuring cell, which has at least one pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragm ( ), on the outer side of which a pressure (P, P , P ) acts during operation, which has a transducer for converting a pressure-dependent deflection of the measuring diaphragm ( ) into an electrical measured variable and which has free outer circumferential surfaces, which are provided with an electrically conductive coating ( ), and an electronic circuit ( ) for converting the electrical measured variable into a measuring signal.

Pressure measuring device

A pressure sensor is provided having a housing, a process connection which is connected to the housing and serves to feed a medium whose pressure (p) is to be measured to a membrane which his arranged in the housing, said membrane, in operation, undergoing a deflection which depends on the pressure (p) which is to be measured, which pressure sensor can have a seal made of a chemically highly resistant material and in which the membrane can consist either of ceramic or metal, which pressure sensor has a seal which seals a gap found between the housing and the process connection and/or the membrane, bears directly against the gap and covers the gap, and which is clamped between the housing and the membrane, and which pressure sensor has a spring which is two-legged in cross section, whose first and second legs enclose an acute angle, whose first leg has a leg surface which faces away from the second leg, rests on a supporting surface and is connected fixedly to the latter, and whose second leg has a leg surface which faces away from the first leg, bears in a planar manner against the seal and exerts a spring force on the seal, which spring force acts in the direction of the gap.

A ceramic pressure measuring cell with a basic body ( ), a diaphragm ( ) connected to the basic body ( ) to form a measuring chamber ( ), which during operation undergoes a deflection dependent on a pressure (p -p ) to be measured and the deflection of which is registered by means of an electromechanical transducer and is made accessible for further evaluation and/or processing, and a bore ( ) which penetrates the basic body ( ) and into which a small pressure tube ( ) is soldered in a pressure-resistant and gastight manner, and via which a pressure (p , p ) is introduced into the measuring chamber ( ), is provided, in which a volume inside the measuring cell and the small pressure tube is precisely known, since the mechanical stop ( ) fixes a depth of penetration of the small pressure tube ( ) into the basic body ( ).

A relative-pressure sensor is provided which is protected against contaminants and/or moisture and manages without an oil filling, having a gas-filled measuring chamber ( ), which is sealed with a pressure-sensitive measuring diaphragm ( ), on the outside of which a pressure (P) to be measured acts during operation, a gas-filled compressible resilient bellows ( ), on which a reference pressure (R) acts from outside during operation, whose internal volume depends on the reference pressure (R), and which is connected to the measuring chamber ( ) in order to adapt an internal pressure prevailing in the measuring chamber ( ) to the reference pressure (R), and a transducer for converting a pressure-dependent deflection of the measuring diaphragm, ( ) into an electric measured variable.
