A holding device for a scale including a support body, a first solid body link and a second body link. The first solid body link acts as a connection between a first longitudinal side of a scale and the support body, via which the scale can be seated, shiftable in a measuring direction, on the support body. The second solid body link acts as a connection between a second longitudinal side of the scale and the support body, via which the scale can be seated, shiftable in the measuring direction, on the support body, wherein the second longitudinal side and the first longitudinal side are arranged opposite each other.

Mount for a scale

A securing system for transporting and mounting a measuring instrument for the determination of a position of two components which are movable in relation to each other. The securing system including a securing device and a support body having a guide track and supporting a linearly extending measuring graduation. The securing device includes a base body, which is longitudinally displaceable along the guide track of the support body and can be fixed in place on the support body by clamping forces in order to maintain the mounting base in a desired position in regard to the support body. The securing device further includes a clamping element pivotably seated on the base body about a pivot axis, which has an eccentric surface, which is embodied to be eccentric with respect to the pivot axis, and that, by pivoting the clamping element, the eccentric surface can be brought into engagement with the support body in such a way that, in the course of pivoting of the clamping element, the base body is fixed in place on the support body and can be brought into a state in which it is displaceably seated on the support body.

Securing device for transporting and mounting a measurement instrument

A position measuring system for determining the position of a first structural component and a second structural component. The position measuring system includes a first support for receiving a first position measuring device, which is set up and provided for being fastened to the first structural component and a second support for receiving a second position measuring device, which is set up and provided for being fastened to the second structural component. The position measuring system further includes a first connector that fastens the first support to the first structural component and a second connector that fastens the second support to the second structural component, wherein the second connector includes a nut, with which a screw can be brought into engagement, wherein the nut is inserted into a recess of the second support. The position measuring system further includes a blocking element which, in an inserted state, works together with the nut in order to prevent a movement of the nut out of the recess in an axial direction, which is the direction of insertion of said screw into said nut, sufficiently far so that insertion of the screw into the nut is made possible.

Position measuring system

A length measuring device and method for mounting the same is provided. A tube-shaped housing, which is sealed by mounting blocks attached at each end is fastened on an object by the mounting blocks. The mounting blocks have inserting elements with protrusions which interlockingly engage cutouts formed in the housing and, in this way, fix the housing in place in the measuring direction (X) with respect to the mounting blocks (5). The mounting blocks fasten the housing on an object in such a way that the housing undergoes the same thermal expansion and shrinkage as the object to which it is mounted.

Length measuring device and method of mounting a length measuring device

A multi-coordinate probe is described for use in measuring machines and machine tools for measurement of workpieces. A support system is described which is configured as a multi-point bearing or support having a plurality of support points. Each support point comprises a bushing integrated into the measuring dish by way of a counter member for a ball as a support member and which is alignable with a bushing in the probe housing base. The automatic adjustment of the ball is assured by a spherical member carrying the ball and being rotatably supported in a seat or lodgment. In case of a misalignment between the bushing and the ball, a torque acting upon the spherical member causes an alignment of the ball. In the adjusted stable position, the spherical members are fixed relative to their seat or lodgment.
