A disk-shaped tool bit (8) of an angle grinder has an annular disk-shaped carrier member covered on its radially outer circumferentially extending surface and on its side face surfaces with abrasive grains. A central through opening extending between the side face surfaces (8a, 8b) serves for attaching the tool bit to the angle grinder. The central through opening has a surface extending between the side face surfaces and tapering inwardly from each side face surface toward the axis of the central opening. The inwardly tapering surfaces form engagement surfaces (8c, 8d), at which an attachment element (11) of a receiving device (7) of the angle grinder bears for securing the tool bit in place. The attachment element (11) does not project outwardly from the side face surface (8b) facing outwardly from the angle grinder.

A grinding tool bit is formed of a disk-shaped base member (1) with a central through opening (6) for attaching the base member to a drive spindle of a machine tool. The base member (1) is covered with individual cutting elements (4) at the radially outer circumferential surface (2) and in the side faces (3) adjacent the outer circumferential surface (2).

An expansion dowel consists of an axially extending sleeve slotted for a part of its length and an axially extending expansion body insertable into and displaceable through the bore in the sleeve for radially expanding the sleeve. The expansion body has at least one axially extending recess in its outer surface so that the expansion body can deform along the recess after a certain expanding force has been achieved. Further, an axially extending bore can be formed through the expansion body with the recess opening into the bore.

Expansion dowel

An expansion dowel consists of an axially elongated sleeve having a bore therethrough with an expansion body being displaceable through the bore for expanding at least an axially extending part of the sleeve. The expansion body has an annular shaped constriction in its rear portion so that the expansion body can be deformed in the region of the constriction after the expanding forces have reached a certain value.
