Apparatus for depositing a textile fiber strand

Known pneumatic pipe conveyor installations for fibres, particularly for textile fibre strands, comprise a conveyor pipe and a selectively operable feeder apparatus for feeding the fibres to the inlet opening of the conveyor pipe. For permitting the feeder apparatus to be automatically stopped in response to the formation of a fibre congestion adjacent the inlet opening of the conveyor pipe, there is provided a pressure-receiving surface (6) at least partially surrounding the inlet opening (5) of the conveyor pipe (2) and operatively connected to a switch (7) adapted to generate a stop signal for stopping operation of the feeder apparatus (3) in response to the pressure acting on the pressure-receiving surface (6) exceeding a predetermined value. The pneumatic pipe conveyor installation is useful for conveying fibre strands or slubbings in the textile industry.

Pneumatic pipe conveyor installation for fibres

An apparatus for gathering a textile fibre fleece from a doffer (3) of a card and forming therefrom a fibre sliver which is then fed to a conveyor (7) is disclosed. The apparatus includes a trough (8) which extends from a take-off location defined by a take-off roller (2). The trough (8) has width substantially corresponding to that of the take-off location and has a bottom (9) and sidewalls (10) which preferably converge in the shape of a funnel. The apparatus also includes a funnel disposed at one end (19) of the trough (8). The funnel is formed as a compressed-air-operable injector (11) for conveying and forming the sliver (5). End (19) of the trough (8) is connected to exhaustor means (23) which suck the fibre fleece (4) towards injector (11).

Apparatus for gathering a textile fibre fleece and forming a fibre sliver

In an apparatus for compressing and automatic introduction of a fibre strand into a feed nip: an opening is formed as a longitudinal slot (12, 12a, b12'a) extending from the outlet port (15) of the nozzle channel (7;7') in the longitudinal direction thereof and in a plane extending substantially perpendicular to the plane (E--E) of the feed nip (1; 1'). The contour of the insertion nozzle (6, 6') adjacent its outlet end on both sides of the longitudinal slot (12, 12a, b; 12'a) is of a shape (9, 10;9') conforming to the contours of the components (2, 3; 2', 8'a), particularly rollers (2, 3) defining the feed nip (1; 1').

Apparatus for compressing and automatically introducing a textile fibre

A spinning frame having a frame mount, a plurality of spindles and, suction elements for each spindle, a ventilating fan arranged in the frame mount and connected to the suction elements, and a filter on the pressure side of the ventilating fan, the filter forming at least part of the rear wall of the frame mount, and including pneumatic cleaning means for the filter, said cleaning means including a suction arm which is movable along the filter and is connected to a suction device.

For automatic feeding of slivers through drawing rollers there is provided a sliver-processing frame having drawing rollers, tubes for conveying slivers to be drawn and a plurality of suction elements connected to a common source of low pressure wherein the drawing rollers are enclosed in a casing of which the interior is connected to the source of low pressure the casing having inlet orifices for admitting cleaning air to the surfaces of the drawing rollers, one end of each tube leading into the casing.

The spindles of a flyer spinning frame are each mounted in respective chambers which are defined by telescopically slidable rings. The lowest ring on each sleeve is sealingly fixed on a spindle rail, while the uppermost ring on each sleeve is attached to a common, vertically movable support. The chambers, which are open at the top, are connected to the suction side of a ventilating fan by ducts, which extend through the spindle rail, and by flexible lines.

A yarn rupture-suction installation or broken end-collecting installation for the drafting systems or drafting gears of spinning machines, comprising a respective suction head for each drafting system connected with an air pressure sink and having a substantially slot-shaped suction opening associated with a delivery or feed roller of each drafting system. The suction opening extends from one end situated close to the spinning triangle to an end situated closer to an air pressure sink in the direction of flow of the air. The method of operating such installation and for preventing clogging of the suction head thereof contemplates imparting to a ruptured yarn piece or broken end leading to the rupture location a different position than the path of travel of the fiber material which is further delivered to the drafting system.

Broken end-collecting installation and method of operating the same

An apparatus for monitoring yarn travel at a multiple spindle spinning machine which is equipped with a suction device servicing at least one group of the spindles. In a collecting channel of the suction device there is arranged a probe which upon passage therepast of fiber flocks or the like delivers an electrical signal to an evaluation circuit equipped with a periodically resettable signal counter having pre-settable counter value and an alarm device. The alarm device can be switched-in by means of a further cumulative counter with a higher, pre-set counter value. This further cumulative counter is coupled by means of a logic circuit with the periodically resettable signal counter in such a manner that the cumulative counter is reset whenever there is missing once or twice a signal from the periodically resettable signal counter.

Apparatus for monitoring yarn travel at a multiple spindle spinning

A circuit for detecting disturbances in yarn travel at a textile machine, comprising a probe delivering an electrical signal in the presence of such disturbances, the probe being operatively coupled by means of discriminator stages with a pre-selection counter structured for setting the maximum permissable number of disturbances. The pre-selection counter is operatively coupled with a multivibrator which, upon exceeding the aforesaid number, delivers a disturbance signal. A clock generator is coupled with one input of the multivibrator which is constructed as a bistable multivibrator or flip-flop and additionally is connected by means of a delay element with a resetting input of the pre-selection counter.

Circuit for detecting disturbances in yarn travel at a textile machine

A monitoring apparatus for a textile machine comprising a feeler coupled with an evaluation circuit, the feeler possessing two spaced electrodes, each of which delivers an electrode signal when textile material moves therepast. The electrodes are offset in the direction of movement of the textile material and the evaluation circuit comprises a logic circuit responsive to electrode signals having a time displacement corresponding at least approximately to the transit time of the textile material from the one electrode to the other electrode.
