An aircraft which includes elements providing air circulation and directing the circulation along a housing. Different operational stages of the aircraft such as take off and level flight are achieved by using the same functionally inter-connected elements. The circulation is achieved by fan elements that allow adjusting the blow direction and the blowing force of the flow. A stagnation point (SP) associated with the circulation is also formed if necessary below the housing and the aircraft can be steered by controlling the circulation and the position of the stagnation point (SP).

A tubular product has a tubular base layer, a tubular innermost layer made of plastic by continuous extrusion, and a tubular tie layer of foamed plastic between and adhered to the base layer and the innermost layer. The tie layer is made of melt processable adhesion plastic, is extruded simultaneously with the innermost layer against the base layer, and has better adhesions to the base and innermost layers than the base and innermost layers have to each other.

An electromechanical transducer comprising at least one transducer element which has a multilayer structure comprising at least two layers such that the transducer element is capable of changing its thickness. The transducer element allows air to flow inside the transducer element in the direction of thickness thereof and inside and out of the transducer element through at least one surface of the transducer element in the direction of thickness of the transducer element. The transducer element can be used e.g. for transforming energy from mechanical energy into electric energy and/or vice versa.

An extrusion method and an extrusion device, whereby at least two different flows of material are supplied from the extrusion device to a nozzle. The nozzle comprises at least two nozzle chambers such that the material flowing through the first nozzle chamber forms an outer part of a product, and the material flowing through the second nozzle part forms an inner part of the product. The capacity of the nozzle chambers is changed, whereby the relative proportion of the different parts of the product can be varied. When the capacity of the nozzle chamber is decreased, the amount of material flowing therethrough increases at the outlet of the nozzle, and when the capacity of the nozzle chamber is increased, the amount of material flowing out there-through decreases at the outlet of the nozzle.

A pipe has an innermost layer, outside of which there is an inner electrode layer, outside of which there is an insulating layer, outside of which there is an outer electrode layer. The innermost layer is made of plastic by continuous extrusion and the insulating layer is made of foamed plastic.

The extruder has a tubular filtering unit () arranged to the annular extrusion channel (), whereby the annular material flow flows through the tubular surface of the filtering unit ().

Film of dielectric material, which film contains gas bubbles preferably of a flat shape. To achieve improved electrical properties, the film is given a large internal unipolar charge, which is created by charging the film by means of an electric field intensive enough to produce partial discharges in the gas bubbles and to cause the charges to move into the dielectric material of the film.

The invention relates to a method and an equipment for attenuating sound in a duct. Sound propagating in a duct is detected by means of a detector () and attenuated by using two successive monopole elements () in such a way that both elements function as a dipole approximation and the elements are also used to approximatively produce the monopole radiation needed. A dipole control signal is fed to both elements () at a phase shift which is 180&#xb0; between the two elements. In addition, a monopole control signal is fed to the same elements (), only this time cophasally. Total volume velocities produced by the two elements () are combinations of the portions obtained from the monopole and dipole sources.

An aircraft rotor and an aircraft which aircraft has a body and a rotor arranged to it, the rotor having at least two blades. The rotor is arranged to rotate around a substantially vertical axis. The blades are arranged in such a manner that, when rotating, they form a conical surface, whereby to provide ascending force, the ascending force coefficients of the blades are adjusted to be positive and to provide propulsive force, the ascending force coefficients of the blades on the forward side and on the rear side are adjusted to have opposite signs.

An extruder includes a material feeding device feeding into a radial pump unit. The radial pump unit includes conical screws which are adjacently positioned and rotate in the same direction. The radial pump unit transfers an annular flow of the material into the extruder's nozzle. Additional material can be supplied into the product through the radial pump unit.

A method and an apparatus for making a plastic film, and to a plastic film wherein the method includes extruding a film from plastic material by an extruder and orientating the film after extrusion. Material is mixed into the plastic so that when the plastic film is stretched, cavitation bubbles are formed in the material particles mixed into the plastic. After orientation, gas is arranged to act on the plastic film under high pressure so that the gas diffuses in the cavitation bubbles and causes overpressure in them. Thus it is possible to make a thin foamed film with a foaming degree of over 70%.

A method and an apparatus for extruding material, the material being extruded with an apparatus comprising at least one rotatable rotor and at least one stator, the rotor and the stator comprising grooves, whereby the grooves make the material move through the apparatus when the rotor is rotated. The rotor and stator surfaces facing each other have a wavelike cross-section, and the grooves are so arranged that at the ridge of a wave the depth of a groove reaches its maximum, and at the bottom of a wave the depth reaches its minimum. The bottom of the wave in the rotor is at the ridge of the wave in the stator and vice versa. This makes the material move alternately from a rotor groove to a stator groove, and back.
