The present invention relates to mRNA sequences usable as mRNA-based vaccines against infections with influenza viruses. Additionally, the present invention relates to a composition comprising the mRNA sequences and the use of the mRNA sequences or the composition for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition, especially a vaccine, e.g. for use in the prophylaxis or treatment of influenza virus infections. The present invention further describes a method of treatment or prophylaxis of infections with influenza virus using the mRNA sequences.

Influenza mRNA vaccines

The present invention relates to a Sendai virus or recombinant Sendai virus vector. In particular the present invention provides methods, vectors, formulations, compositions, and kits for a modified Enders strain Sendai viral vector. An immunogenic vector can be used in any in vitro or in vivo system. Moreover, some embodiments include vectors for imaging virus growth, location and transmission.

Polyenv vaccines are provided that comprise mixtures of at least 4 to about 10,000 different recombinant viruses that each express a different HIV env variant or a portion thereof containing both constant and variable regions, as well as methods of making and using such polyenv vaccines and viruses, including the use of the polyenv vaccine, in live, attenuated or inactivated form, for prophylaxis or treatment of HIV infection. The viral vaccines of the invention are optimally combined with a recombinant HIV env booster, or a recombinant HIV env gene DNA priming or boosting vaccine.
