A method of producing a reversible solid oxide cell. The method includes the steps of tape casting an anode support layer on a support (); tape casting an anode layer on a support (); tape casting an electrolyte layer on a support (); and either laminating said anode layer on top of said anode support layer; removing said support () from said anode layer; laminating said electrolyte layer on top of said anode layer; and sintering the multilayer structure; or laminating said anode layer on top of said electrolyte layer; removing said support () from said anode layer; laminating said anode support layer on top of said anode layer; and sintering the multilayer structure.
