Procedure for retrieving an insertion of an underwater buoy ( ) in a well ( ) at the bottom of a dynamically positioned vessel ( ), at which a pulling line ( ) for interconnection with the buoy ( ) is lowered through the well ( ) and hoisted to the deck ( ) of the vessel ( ), and the buoy ( ) is interconnected with the pulling line ( ) and hoisted into the well ( ) by use of a winching device ( ) on the vessel, comprising the steps of attaching the pulling line ( ) to the connection unit ( ) on the deck ( ) of the vessel ( ), to lower the connection unit ( ) with the pulling line ( ) towards the buoy ( ) by use of a hoisting device ( ) on the vessel ( ) under possible guidance by use of the dynamic positioning system of the vessel, to place the connection unit ( ) on a cooperating device ( ) on the top of the buoy ( ), whereby a terminal end on the pulling line ( ) is connected to the cooperating device ( ) to release the connection unit ( ) from the cooperating device ( ), and to hoist the connection unit onto the deck of the vessel ( ) by using a hoisting device ( ), to position the vessel ( ) in such a way that the buoy ( ) is positioned vertically below the well ( ) and to hoist the buoy ( ) into the well ( ) by using a winching device ( ).

Method and system for connecting an underwater buoy to a vessel

A system for transfer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) between two vessels ( ). The system comprises a coupling head ( ) mounted at one end of a flexible pipe means ( ) and arranged for attachment on a platform ( ) at one end of one vessel ( ) when it is not in use, and a connection unit ( ) mounted at one end of the other vessel ( ) and comprising a pull-in funnel ( ) shaped for guided pull-in of the coupling head ( ) to a locking position in which the pipe means ( ) can be connected to transfer pipes ( ) on the other vessel ( ) via a valve means ( ) arranged in the coupling head. System for offshore transfer of liquefield natural gas

A system for anchoring of a tanker near an offshore production unit ( ) which is anchored by means of a number of anchor lines ( ) and associated anchors, and from which a tanker ( ) in use of the system is supplied with oil or gas. The system comprises a first and a second pair of bottom-anchored buoys ( resp. ) located before or behind the production unit ( ), as seen in the prevailing weather direction (W), and at a chosen distance from the production unit ( ). The buoys ( ) of the first pair are located closer to the production unit ( ) than the buoys ( ) of the second pair, and the buoys ( resp. ) of each pair has a chosen mutual distance transversely to said weather direction (W), so that a tanker ( ) may be moored in the region between the buoys ( ) with the fore-and-aft direction essentially coinciding with said weather direction (W). The system further comprises a collision barrier ( ) extending between the buoys ( ) of the first buoy pair and being connected thereto, to prevent a collision between the tanker ( ) and the production unit ( ).

System for mooring a tanker near an offshore floating unit

A device for installation in a floating vessel which is intended for receiving a buoy or a turret in a submerged receiving space at the bottom of the vessel. The device comprises a tubular body ( ) dimensioned for installation in a shaft ( ) extending vertically through the hull of the vessel and which, at its lower end, is arranged to receive a module unit ( ) provided with a through opening ( ) for receiving the buoy/turret. When the module unit ( ) is installed in the tubular body ( ), the module unit at its lower end forms a seal ( ) against the tubular body ( ), and at its upper end the module unit ( ) is fixed in relation to the tubular body ( ) by locking means ( ).

Module device for installation in a vessel, for receiving a submerged buoy or the like

A riser bundle comprising a number of risers (,) extending in a wave configuration from the bottom of a body of water up to a floating vessel or the like, the riser bundle (,) along its length being provided with means giving different portions (,) along the wave configuration different submerged weight and net buoyancy. The risers (,) are arranged around a centrally extending tube (,) and are surrounded by a tubular outer casing (,), the central tube (,) and the interspaces (,) between the risers (,), along different portions of the wave configuration in operation being filled with materials of different density. Thereby there is achieved at least one light portion (,) of the configuration having a desired positive net buoyancy, and a heavy portion (,resp.,) on each side of the light portion (,) having a desired positive submerged weight.
