Described is an apparatus comprising a first interface, a second interface, a third interface, and an interconnection fabric. The first interface may transfer a first stream of data traffic. The second interface, which may be an enhanced Serial Peripheral Interface (eSPI) interface, may transfer a second stream of data traffic and a third stream of data traffic. The third interface may transfer a fourth stream of data traffic. The interconnection fabric may couple the first interface to the second interface and may couple the second interface to the third interface. The second interface may initiate a transfer of an outbound data stream from one of the second stream of data traffic or the third stream of data traffic based on an available-space credit indicator. The second interface may receive an inbound data stream based upon the outbound data stream.

Low power data processing offload using external platform component

Technologies for cryptographic protection of I/O audio data include a computing device with a cryptographic engine and an audio controller. A trusted software component may request an untrusted audio driver to establish an audio session with the audio controller that is associated with an audio codec. The trusted software component may verify that a stream identifier associated with the audio session received from the audio driver matches a stream identifier received from the codec. The trusted software may program the cryptographic engine with a DMA channel identifier associated with the codec, and the audio controller may assert the channel identifier in each DMA transaction associated with the audio session. The cryptographic engine cryptographically protects audio data associated with the audio session. The audio controller may lock the controller topology after establishing the audio session, to prevent re-routing of audio during a trusted audio session. Technologies for protecting audio data with trusted I/O

An example apparatus includes: a host controller offload capability detector to determine that a media stream offload capability is available in the peripheral interface host controller; a media stream offload arbiter to send a media stream offload request to a media processor manager based on the media stream offload capability and based on a peripheral device being connected to the peripheral interface host controller; and an endpoint mapper to generate an endpoint table entry corresponding to the peripheral device, the endpoint table entry to assign a first communication interface of the peripheral interface host controller to transfer a media stream corresponding to the peripheral device between the media processor and the peripheral interface host controller without the media stream being routed to an application processor that is in circuit with the peripheral interface host controller and in circuit with the media processor.

Methods and apparatus to offload media streams in host devices

In one embodiment, a method includes determining whether producer-consumer ordering rules have been met for a first transaction to be sent from a source agent to a target agent via a fabric, and if so a first request for the first transaction is sent from the source agent to the fabric in a first clock cycle. Then a second request can be sent from the source agent to the fabric for a second transaction in a pipelined manner. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Audio content protection

A method and a system are described providing multiple display systems with an enhanced acoustics experience. A source audio signal having a plurality of source audio channels is generated from an audio signal source. The system includes a plurality of speakers connected to a plurality of display systems. A speaker configuration gatherer determines the spatial configuration of the speakers. An audio signal processor is provided to generate synthesized audio signal based on the contents of the source audio signal and spatial configuration of the speakers. The synthesized audio signal is mapped and delivered to the speakers to produce an enhanced sound field.

Multiple display systems with enhanced acoustics experience

An embodiment of the present invention is a technique to provide a secure authentication of chipset configuration. A first chipset configuration (CC) register set in an input/output (I/O) manageability engine (ME) partition authenticates and controls enabling a CC functionality. The I/O ME partition manages I/O resources shared with a processor in a secure manner. A second CC register set in a processor interface space provides the CC functionality. The second CC register set includes a global enable register having an enable field securely accessible to the I/O ME partition in a read and write-once accessibility and accessible to the processor via the processor interface space in a read-only accessibility.
