Some aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes transmitting control information regarding at least one of scheduling or configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report to be transmitted by the first wireless device. The method generally includes generating the CSI report based on one or more CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) received by the first wireless device. This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for adapting a radar transmission based on a congestion level. A wireless device, such as a radar device, a UE, a base station, a vehicle, etc., may detect a congestion level of a wireless communication environment that includes the wireless device. The wireless device may have at least one of a first FOV or a first range within the wireless communication environment. The wireless device may transmit, based on the congestion level exceeding a threshold, a radar signal that corresponds to the wireless device having at least one of a second FOV or a second range in the wireless communication environment that is smaller than the at least one of the first FOV or the first range.

Adapting a radar transmission based on a congestion level

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first user equipment (UE) establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection for a communication session with a second UE, establishes a signaling radio bearer (SRB) for the communication session with the second UE on a first frequency band, sends, to the second UE over the SRB on the first frequency band, a first RRC message to establish a data radio bearer (DRB) for the communication session on a second frequency band, the first RRC message including one or more parameters for establishing the DRB on the second frequency band, and configures the DRB on the second frequency band based on the one or more parameters in the first RRC message and/or a device-to-device discovery procedure performed in the first frequency band.

Establishing radio bearers on millimeter wave frequencies for device-to-device communications

An improved manner of transmitting and receiving messages in sidelink communication is presented in which a wireless device receives sidelink control information (SCI) that indicates a zone ID associated with a sidelink message. The wireless device determines a location of the wireless device and determines whether to send feedback for the sidelink message based, at least in part, on the zone ID associated with the sidelink message and the location of the wireless device. The feedback may include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback, and the sidelink message may include a groupcast message. The wireless device may further receive an indication of an intended range in the SCI and may determine whether to send the feedback based on a combination of the zone ID and the intended range for the sidelink message.

Transmission with indication of geographic area

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple candidate sets of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions that include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink communications received from one or more peer UEs. The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. Concurrent physical sidelink feedback channel transmission

The apparatus may be a first wireless device configured to receive a first indication that a second wireless device associated with the first wireless device and a network device is classified as providing data of a first type. The apparatus may further be configured to receive a first set of data elements from the second wireless device. The apparatus may be configured to identify, based on the first set of data elements and a second set of data elements available at the first wireless device, that the classification of the second wireless device may be inaccurate and transmit, based on the identification that the classification of the second wireless device may be inaccurate, at least one of a second indication for the second wireless device to transmit a re-evaluation request or a third indication to the second wireless device to terminate a communication session with the first wireless device.

Mitigating the effects of rogue actors in vehicle-to-vehicle perceptive wireless communications

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multiple-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning. In some aspects, a method includes transmitting, by a first user equipment (UE) including a first set of transmission and reception points (TRPs), a first request for a first sidelink (SL) positioning session. The first request indicates a multi-TRP positioning session is enabled. The method also includes receiving, from a second UE including a second set of TRPs, a first response based on the first request. The first response indicates a number of TRPs of the second set of TRPs available for the first SL positioning session. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Multi-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a time offset for synchronization signal resources for synchronization signals associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may determine the synchronization signal resources and a synchronization periodicity based on the indication and a penetration ratio of UEs associated with the first RAT. The UE may selectively transmit the synchronization signals on the synchronization signal resources and according to the synchronization periodicity. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine that other synchronization signal resources are allocated for a second RAT and may select resources for communications associated with the first RAT based on determining that the other synchronization signal resources are allocated. The UE may perform communications associated with the first RAT based on selecting the resources.

Resource sharing between sidelink devices using different radio access technologies

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE via a sidelink interface between the first UE and the second UE, an indication of a device discovery model associated with the second UE, wherein the device discovery model associated with the second UE is different than a device discovery model associated with the first UE. The UE may perform a device discovery with the second UE based at least in part on the device discovery model associated with the second UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Techniques for sidelink discovery between user equipments associated with different discovery models

In some aspects, a node may identify a set of co-located nodes associated with a co-location condition relative to the node. The node may receive, from the set of co-located nodes, measurement information regarding at least one of: a beam measurement, a transmission reception point (TRP) measurement, or a cell measurement. A method of assisting joint network entity/user equipment and user equipment/user equipment (NE/UE-and-UE/UE) ranging includes: transmitting, from a first UE to a network entity, a capability indication that indicates a capability of the first UE to serve as an anchor UE for joint NE/UE-and-UE/UE ranging; obtaining, at the first UE, a location of the first UE; transmitting, from the first UE, the location of the first UE; transmitting, from the first UE to the network entity, at least one indication that a second UE is in a line of sight of the first UE or that the second UE is in close proximity to the first UE; and transmitting, from the first UE, at least one of a first positioning reference signal to the second UE, or a measurement report indicating a measurement of a second positioning reference signal received by the first UE from the second UE.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) determines that a perception-based approach to adaptive beam weight learning would provide improved performance of wireless communication with a base station over a wireless communication medium relative to non-perception-based approaches to adaptive beam weight learning, and transmits, to a network node, an indication for the base station to perform perception-based adaptive beam weight learning procedures for the wireless communication with the base station over the wireless communication medium.
