An encrypted data recording apparatus is disclosed. The encrypted data recording apparatus includes: analyzing means for analyzing encrypted data inputted; decrypting means for decrypting the encrypted data analyzed by the analyzing means; encrypting means for encrypting the data decrypted by the decrypting means using key information peculiar to the encrypted data recording apparatus; and recording control means for recording the data encrypted by the encrypting means in plural recording means with redundancy given to the data.

Encrypted data recording apparatus

A stereoscopic display includes: a display panel in which sub-pixels of a plurality of colors are arranged in a predetermined arrangement pattern; and a parallax barrier having a barrier pattern including transmission sections allowing light to pass therethrough and a shielding section shielding light. The arrangement pattern and the barrier pattern are configured in such a manner that stereoscopic vision is achieved when the display panel and the parallax barrier are both in a first arrangement state and in a second arrangement state, the first arrangement state and the second arrangement state having such a positional relationship that vertical direction and horizontal direction are interchanged with each other.

A display device to display an image corresponding to image signals in a display area is provided. The display device includes a backlight including individually placed light sources corresponding to areas in the display area; a panel that includes pixels corresponding to the display area and that changes transmittance of light from the light sources in units of pixels; a panel control unit to individually set emission brightness of each of the light sources in accordance with the image signals and set the transmittance of light in each of the pixels in accordance with the emission brightness; a storage unit to store a nonlinear conversion table to convert the emission brightness to a light source control value for the backlight; and a backlight control unit to convert the emission brightness to the light source control value in accordance with the nonlinear conversion table and supply the light source control value to the backlight.

An encrypted-stream processing circuit includes: a decryption mechanism decrypting an encrypted stream; a stream-data processing mechanism separating a plurality of packets included in a stream decrypted by the decryption mechanism in accordance with a packet identifier identifying the packet, and creating a partial stream by extracting a part from the stream under the control of a CPU (Central Processing Unit); and an encryption mechanism encrypting the partial stream, wherein the decryption mechanism, the stream-data processing mechanism, and the encryption mechanism are included in a packaged integrated circuit, and are connected to the CPU through a bus.

The present invention provides a stream control device. The device includes a plurality of data processors that sequentially implement processing for stream data. The unit data of processing in each of the data processors has a certain data amount. The stream control device also includes a memory that is provided at a previous stage or a subsequent stage of the data processor, and stores the stream data. Each of the data processors includes a monitoring unit that monitors an amount of data stored in the memories at a previous stage and a subsequent stage of the data processor, and a data retriever that retrieves data to be processed from the memory at the previous stage.

The driving method includes the step of, when the value of an input signal input into the drive circuit is indicated by x, in each of the display area units, when the value x of the input signal for any of the pixels is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, such a value being indicated by x, controlling the luminance level of the planar light source unit corresponding to the display area unit so that luminance levels of the pixels, assuming that the control signal corresponding to the input signal having a value greater than the value xis supplied to the pixels, can be obtained.

A sending-receiving system, a sender apparatus, a sending method, a receiver apparatus, a receiving method, a recording medium, and a program for improving the reliability of communication. A TS packet sequence furnished with an RTP header includes audio data. The audio data alone constitutes a TS packet sequence having the RTP header as well. That is, an RTP packet having the same sequence number of, for example, '1235h' is transmitted twice in a row. If the receiving side can receive at least one of the two RTP packets thus transmitted, that means the audio data has been sent intact. This arrangement makes it possible to prevent disconnections of audio being offered to the user. The invention applies to both the transmitting and the receiver apparatus for sending and receiving data therebetween.

An auto-ejector incorporated in a disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus is driven by a disk driving motor and a head driving motor which are requisite for the apparatus. That is, the ejector is triggered under the power of the head driving motor, and a disk cartridge in which a disk is accommodated is ejected under the power of the disk driving motor. Thus, any device, such as an electromagnetic device, a motor or the like used only for the ejector is not needed.

A tracking servo for a floppy disc drive or the like employs a plurality of servo tracks recorded between adjacent data tracks on the floppy discs, with the signals from adjacent servo tracks on both sides of a data track being used to define the difference between the position of the magnetic head and the center line of the data track being accessed, and an adder is used to add the current position of the head to the product of such difference multiplied by a constant, with the sum delayed by the period of one rotation for comparison with the current position of the head, to derive a tracking control signal.
