Lamp for vehicle

A vehicular lamp including a luminescent element module made of a flexible parallel wiring body, which is made of a plurality of flexible wiring conductors that are disposed parallel to each other and sheathed by soft plastic, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes, which are mounted on the flexible parallel wiring body, so that the luminescent element module has a conductive path formed by notching a part of the wiring conductors of the flexible parallel wiring body and/or by connecting a plurality of the wiring conductors together, and the luminescent element module is provided on the lamp body so that the light-emitting diode faces in the direction of radiation of the vehicular lamp.

Vehicular lamp

An apparatus includes a light chamber defined by a lamp body and a front cover. The apparatus houses a projection-type light source unit which integrates a reflector, a light source disposed in the vicinity of a first focal point of the reflector, a convex lens disposed in front of the reflector, and an extension reflector. The convex lens is disposed such that light external from the lamp chamber enters the lamp chamber and is reflected out through the convex lens.

Vehicular headlamp with lens holder having upper opening portion

A vehicular lamp having a projection-type light source unit installed in its lamp chamber. The projection-type light source unit includes a reflector that has a light source and a cylindrical lens holder that is disposed on the front end of the reflector and is provided with a convex lens at its front end so that the peripheral portion of the convex lens is fixed to the front edge of the lens holder by a lens fixture. The lens holder has, on the inner or interior side of the front edge, a lens engaging portion so that the peripheral portion of the convex lens is engaged with this lens engaging portion from behind, and the convex lens is securely held at its peripheral portion on the lens engaging portion by the lens fixture (a lens fitting, a fastening screw, a boss having a screw hole) provided inside the lens holder.

An object of the present invention is to prevent dazzlement from being caused by beams of light directly emitted from a light source, without requiring any bulky component member. A vehicular headlamp comprises a light source , a reflector , a cut-line forming shade for forming a cut line, and a condenser lens . The cut-line forming shade cuts off some beams of light emitted from the light source and reflected by the reflector and forms shaped beams of light. The condenser lens projects the shaped beams of light forwards and radiates them according to a light distribution pattern. An opening is formed between the condenser lens and the reflector. A dazzling-light cutting shade for cutting off beams of light emitted toward a region above the light distribution pattern is disposed between the light source and the opening.

Projection-type vehicular headlamp having reduced dazzling effect

A vehicle headlamp including a reflector and a light-source bulb installed in the reflector so that the bulb supporting portion of the light-source bulb is slid and fitted on the inner peripheral surface of an annular wall formed in the rear end of the reflector in a cylindrical shape. A plurality of notches are formed through the annular cylindrical wall so as to be positioned in front of the bulb supporting portion of the light-source bulb, thus allowing the heat inside the reflector to escape to the outside through the notches and avoiding the reflector from being heated to a high temperature.

Vehicle headlamp

A shade for screening part of reflected light from a light source is rotated between a low beam and a high beam positions providing a different amount of screened light. The beam switching device comprises a tension coil spring for elastically biasing the shade toward the low beam position and a solenoid constructed to press against the shade against the elastic biasing force of the tension coil spring so that the shade rotates to reach the high beam position. The solenoid is constructed to simply press against the shade. The beam switching device can be assembled to a reflector unit only by disposing the solenoid and the tension coil spring at predetermined positions, respectively.

To provide a resin material in which various properties of a polyacetal resin such as excellent appearance, slidability and thermal stability are maintained and a rigidity is improved as well. That is, a polyacetal copolymer which is prepared by a copolymerization of 100 parts by weight of trioxane (A), 0.0005 to 2 parts by weight of the component (B), which is a compound (B-1) having at least three glycidyl groups in the molecule or a compound (B-2) having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, and 0 to 20 parts by weight of a cyclic ether compound (C) copolymerizable with trioxane, and which has a total terminal group amount of 15 to 150 mmol/kg, when (B) is (B-2).

Polyacetal copolymer

A vehicular headlamp including a light source bulb, a reflector reflecting light from the light source bulb forward in a convergent manner, a condensing lens provided at such a position that, of the light reflected from the reflector, at least a meridian light flux in a vertical cross-section is incident as divergent light, a shade provided in proximity to a position of convergence of the meridian light flux and which blocks part of the reflected light, and an aiming bracket to which an aiming member for tilting the reflector is attached. The shade is composed of a metal plate member that is formed integrally with the aiming bracket, and is attached to the reflector. With this construction, the total number of parts of the headlamp is reduced and costs can be reduced accordingly.

Vehicular headlamp with integrated aiming bracket

A vehicular headlamp equipped with a light source bulb composed of a bulb body and a bulb supporting portion for supporting the bulb body and with a reflector in which a bulb insertion hole for insertion of the bulb body of the light source bulb is formed. An annular wall is formed around the bulb insertion hole of the reflector and a bulb abutment face on which the body supporting portion is made to abut from behind is formed in the annular wall. A notch portion that is notched forwards from the bulb abutment face is formed in the annular wall. Accordingly, the heat generated within the reflector is dissipated into the external space and the possibility of heat deformation of the reflector is reduced.

Vehicular headlamp having improved bulb support

To provide a process for stable and continuous production of a polyacetal resin, mainly comprising a copolymer of 1,3-dioxolane and trioxane under the presence of a catalyst, in a high yield on an industrial scale for a long period of time. In the continuous production of a polyacetal resin by mixing 1,3-dioxolane with boron trifluoride and/or a coordination compound of boron trifluoride and then, mixing the obtained mixture with trioxane to conduct bulk polymerization in a polymerization machine, 1,3-dioxolane is brought into contact with boron trifluoride and/or a coordination compound of boron trifluoride while feeding both at the same direction and they are mixed together for 0.1 to 30 seconds under the condition of at least 0.1 m/sec of the linear velocity of the mixture and subsequently mixed with trioxane.

A branched or crosslinked polyacetal resin is excellent in blow moldability, has impact resistances such as plane impact resistance, and the smoothness of the inner surfaces of moldings produced therefrom, and is suitable for molding, particularly blow molding. It can be produced by the bulk polymerization of (A) trioxane with (B) a cyclic ether and/or cyclic formal and (C) a polyfunctional glycidyl ether compound in the presence of (D) a cationic polymerization catalyst, a mixture prepared by mixing the cyclic ether and/or cyclic formal (B) with the polyfunctional glycidyl ether compound (C) and the cationic polymerization catalyst (D) is added to trioxane (A) to conduct the polymerization.
