An apparatus configured to determine a storage position of a plural type of parts to be assembled to a workpiece corresponding to a plural type of products produced in a predetermined period in accordance with a production schedule, in a storage section having a plural row of storage space facing a lane. The apparatus is configured to store a correspondence relationship between a type of the workpiece corresponding to the products and a type of the parts to be assembled to the workpiece, determine the storage position of the plural type of parts in the storage section based on the correspondence relationship, and to output the storage position. The apparatus determines the storage position so that each of the plural type of parts corresponding to the workpiece is respectively dispersed into each of the plural row of the storage section.

High precision work is performed on a work target (workpiece) during conveyance, irrespective of the oscillations accompanying conveyance. A work method includes steps of: predicting a predicted oscillation pattern occurring in a workpiece (W) afterwards from the measurement results of oscillation occurring in the workpiece (W) during conveyance by way of a workpiece conveyance device (); controlling a robot () so as to operate at an oscillation according to the predicted oscillation pattern thus predicted; detecting oscillation occurring in the robot () during the step of controlling; and comparing the oscillation occurring in the robot () with the predicted oscillation pattern, and in the case of differing, adjusting so that the oscillation of the robot () matches the predicted oscillation pattern, in which each of these steps is completed before the robot () performs work on the workpiece (W).

Work method and work device

The intensity of first reflected ultrasonic waves reflected from an end of a first electrode tip is measured while the electrode tip is separated from a workpiece. The intensity of second reflected waves reflected from the end of the electrode tip is measured while the electrode tip contacts with the workpiece. Based on the above intensities, an intensity ratio (reflectance) and the fraction of the waves entering the workpiece are determined from the following equations: reflectance=(intensity of second reflected waves)/(intensity of first reflected waves) fraction of waves entering the workpiece=1&#x2212;reflectance. From a predetermined correlative relationship between a contact area of a region enabling ultrasonic waves to be incident on the workpiece and the determined fraction of the entering waves, a ratio (contact area ratio) is determined between a total area of the region and a contact area of the region contacting with the workpiece.

Method of evaluation using ultrasonic waves

A spot welding inspecting apparatus is provided with: a gun chip; a signal transmitting part; an ultrasonic sensor; an inner cylinder; a through hole; a partitioning cylinder; a first flow path; a second flow path; and a third flow path. The inner cylinder is inserted to an outer cylinder of spot welding gun and holds the ultrasonic sensor. The through hole is provided on the inner cylinder. The partitioning cylinder surrounds the through hole and is inserted into a gap between the ultrasonic sensor and the outer cylinder. The first flow path is formed between the inner cylinder and the partitioning cylinder by passing the through hole from an inner portion of the inner cylinder. The second flow path is formed at the gun chip to be circulated around a front end of the partitioning cylinder. The third flow path is formed between the outer cylinder and the partitioning cylinder. A cooling agent flows in an order of the first flow path, the second flow path and the third flow path.

Spot welding inspecting apparatus

A temporary operation path is set by connecting a plurality of welding points in a virtual space generated by a computer to investigate whether an end effector can be operated along the temporary operation path. If the operation cannot be operated, a path to avoid interference with a workpiece is set automatically while extracting a portion in which the workpiece exists in the internal space surrounded by the end effector in order to set a narrow-area operation path for withdrawing the end effector from a welding point. Next, in order to set a wide-area operation path for making movement between withdrawing points, a template operation is applied, in which the end effector is moved by a prescribed distance in a prescribed direction.
