A connector with cable cover includes a housing including a terminal accommodation chamber configured to accommodate a terminal connected to a cable and a rear surface configured to draw out the cable from the housing; and a cable cover formed in a tubular shape and attached to a side of the rear surface. A water drain passage is formed between a rear side on a side surface of the housing and a front side on an inner surface of the cable cover in a state where the cable cover is attached to the housing.

A connector with cable cover includes a housing including a terminal accommodation chamber configured to accommodate a terminal connected to a cable and a rear surface having an opening of the terminal accommodation chamber configured to draw out the cable from the housing; and a cable cover formed in a tubular shape and attached to a side of the rear surface. The housing is provided with a water drain passage communicating from a part of the rear surface positioned below the opening on the rear surface to a rear side of a lower surface of the housing.

Waterproof electrical connector

A protective cap is used when a male inner housing to which male terminals and electric wires are attached is passed through a bellows-shaped tubular portion of a grommet. A male outer housing mounted on an annular seal portion of the grommet and the male inner housing accommodated in the male outer housing in a state where the male inner housing accommodates and holds the male terminals connected to the electric wires constitutes the connector. The protective cap includes a circular cap main body having an accommodating recess that accommodates tab portions of the male terminals protruding more than a front face of the male inner housing, at least a front side of the male inner housing being fitted into the accommodating recess. An outer diameter of the cap main body is smaller than an inner diameter of the bellows-shaped tubular portion.

A terminal includes a box-shaped body part including a pair of a first side wall and second side wall which are raised from both side ends of a bottom wall, a top wall extended from the first side wall, and an auxiliary wall extended from the second side wall. The top wall includes a first slit opening on a side end face of the top wall. The auxiliary wall includes a second slit opening on a side end face of the auxiliary wall. A stabilizer is formed by a portion on a front side of a separating portion formed by the second slit. A stabilizer reinforcing section is formed by a portion on a front side of a separating portion formed by the first slit. An engagement section is formed by a portion on a rear side of the separating portion formed by the first slit of the top wall.

Downsized terminal having a box-shaped body part

A connector is provided which includes a housing in which a terminal is accommodated, and a retainer which is mounted on the housing to prevent movement of the terminal in the direction of detachment. A retainer insertion hole is provided on the housing to insert the retainer, and a provisional locking projection and a final locking projection are provided which extend into the retainer insertion hole. A guide portion is provided in the retainer which is flexibly deformed by interference from the provisional locking projection and the final locking projection, and a locked portion is formed, which is a locking hole opened in the guide portion. The locked portion and the provisional locking projection are temporarily locked during the insertion process, and the locked portion and the final locking projection are locked at the end of the insertion process.

Connector

A connector includes: a terminal including a box part which covers a terminal-contact spring, a crimped part which holds a core wire, and a concave part formed between the box part and the crimped part; and a housing integrally including an insertion port from which the terminal is inserted, an accommodation chamber in which the terminal is accommodated, an band which constitute a part of the accommodation chamber and is put into a double end-supported state so that the elastic band is pressed and elastically deformed by the box part of the terminal when the terminal is inserted in the housing from the insertion port, a lance which protrudes from an intermediate part of the band to engage the concave part of the terminal, and a reinforcement part which protrudes from the lance toward a bottom side of the housing to enter in the concave part of the terminal.

Connector with reinforced structure

A terminal is formed by bending a plate of electrically conductive metal and is received in a connector housing. The terminal includes a box-shaped body part, a terminal contact part provided on a front side of the body part, and an electrical wire connecting part provided on a rear side of the body part. When the plate before bending is viewed from the thickness direction, a conductor section having a cross-section having constant width and thickness extends from the terminal contact part to the electrical wire connecting part.

Provided is a lever fitting-type connector wherein the time for connecting a second connector comprised of a plurality of connector segments to a first connector can be reduced; and a compact connector portion of a wire harness can be obtained. A second connector () fitted and connected to a first connector () by an operation for rotating a fitting operation lever () attached to the first connector (), is configured by combining a main connector segment () with a subsidiary connector segment (). The main connector segment () has a lever engagement portion () to be engaged with the fitting operation lever () when the main connector segment is fitted to an initial fitting position. The main connector segment () is shifted from the initial fitting position to a complete fitting position by an operation for rotating the fitting operation lever ().

Lever fitting-type connector

A connector provided with a female-type metal terminal fitting, includes a case portion including a bottom plate portion, first and second side plate portions, and an upper plate portion, a lance engaging portion formed at a rear end portion of the upper plate portion so as to engage with a lance, a biasing portion integrated in the case portion, a wire connecting portion provided so as to be extended to a rear side of the case portion, and a spring supporting plate portion laminated on an inner face of the upper plate portion. A rear end portion of the spring supporting plate portion is recessed toward inside of the case portion further than the rear end portion of the upper plate portion. The biasing portion is extended from the spring supporting plate portion.

Female-type metal terminal fitting

To provide a connector in which a lance beak part will not be broken, even though a large load is applied by a front holder. A locking lance is provided, at its distal end, with a lance beak pad which is adapted to be caught by a lock releasing jig for releasing lock of the locking lance with respect to a terminal, and a locking projection which is continued from the lance beak part and erected from a terminal end of the lance beak part. When a projected part is inserted into e deflection space in a state where the locking lance is deflected, a lower face of the projected part overrides an upper face of the lance beak part, and a distal end of the projected part comes into contact with a vertical face of the locking projection which is erected from the lance beak part.

In resin molded parts with lock arms, a peripheral wallprotruding toward a rear side vertical to a main body part is connected to the peripheral edge of the substantially plate shaped main body part. Belt plate shaped lock armsare connected to the peripheral wall with ends protruding toward a front side vertical to the main body part by connecting base endsto the outer surfaces of the peripheral wall. The lock arms have slitswhich are formed in intermediate parts of the lock arms in the direction of width of the lock arms and continuously extend from the end faces of the base ends of the lock arms to parts before the ends to ensure engaging partsin the ends of the lock arms. When the resin molded parts with the lock arms is formed, the main body part and the lock arms are formed by opening and closing metal molds from a front surface side and a rear surface side of the main body part, the lock arms are formed so as to have shapes more obliquely curved outward toward the ends of the lock arms and the slits are formed by a slit forming part provided in the metal mold of the rear surface side.

A connector comprising a first connector provided with a first projection and a second projection on an outer surface thereof; and a frame including a wall portion defining an opening, the wall portion provided with a first guide running in a direction and a second guide on an inner surface thereof, wherein the first connector is inserted into the frame through the opening along the direction while the first projection is guided by the first guide and the second projection is guided by the second guide, and at least a part of a distance between the first guide and the second guide shortens along the direction.

LIF connector

A lever fitting type connector includes a male connector, a lever which is rotatably attached to the male connector, and a female connector which has a fitting space into which the male connector is inserted. The lever has a fulcrum protrusion provided on one end portion of the lever. An inner wall forming the fitting space of the female connector has a guiding groove portion and a receiving groove portion for receiving the fulcrum protrusion. The guiding groove portion extends in a fitting direction of the male connector with respect to the female connector from an upper end portion of the inner wall toward the inside of the fitting space. The receiving groove portion which is communicated with the guiding groove portion and extends in a direction intersecting the fitting direction from one end of the guiding groove portion which is away from the upper portion of the inner wall. The fulcrum protrusion is positioned to the inside of the receiving groove portion at a time when an unrotatable state of the lever is released.
