A display device which is an electro-optical device includes a panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer and having a display region, a transparent region provided inside the display region, and a frame region provided between the transparent region and the display region. A backlight unit is provided below the panel so as not to overlap with the transparent region. A bezel is provided below the backlight unit so as not to overlap with the transparent region. A cover member is provided above the second substrate so as to overlap with the transparent region. Also, a cap film made of a material different from that of the bezel covers at least a lateral side of the backlight unit in the frame region.

Electro-optical device and electronic equipment

A display device capable of suppressing light leakage is provided. The display device includes a panel, a transparent region provided in a display region of the panel, a frame region provided between the transparent region and the display region, a backlight unit, and a bezel. In the frame region, the panel, the backlight unit, and the bezel are adhered by a tape, and the bezel and the tape have a function of blocking visible light.

Performance of a display apparatus is improved. The display apparatus includes: a substrate having a side surface (first side surface); a backlight unit (light supply portion) having a side surface (second side surface); a flexible wiring board having a wiring electrically connected to a terminal (first terminal) and having an insulating film with flexibility covering the wiring; and a double-sided tape. The flexible wiring board is bonded to the side surface of the backlight unit through the double-sided tape.

Disclosed is a method of manufacturing an airfoil structure. The airfoil structure includes a plurality of airfoils, a support for supporting the airfoils, and a case for covering the airfoils. Each airfoil includes an airfoil body, and an airflow generator for producing induced airflow by generating plasma. The method includes a process of forming the airflow generator that includes a first electrode forming step of forming a first electrode on the airfoil body, a dielectric layer forming step of forming a dielectric layer on the airfoil body by forming ceramic powder into a film to cover the first electrode through room temperature impact consolidation, and a second electrode forming step of forming a second electrode on a surface of the dielectric layer, such that the second electrode is electrically connected to the first electrode, and an alternating-current voltage is applied to the second electrode.

Airfoil structure manufacturing method

According to one embodiment, a transmitting apparatus includes a generation unit, a division unit, an imparting unit and a transmitting unit. The generation unit generates first control information in accordance with a first information format. The division unit divides the first control information into control information pieces in accordance with information format divisions into which the first information format is divided and which include respective pointer regions, each of the information format divisions having a same data length as a second information format. The imparting unit imparts, to the pointer region of each of the information format divisions, a pointer indicating a wireless communication resource used to transmit one of the control information pieces corresponding to one of the information format divisions other than the each control information format division. The transmitting unit transmits the control information pieces.

According to an embodiment, a semiconductor device includes a wireless station selection unit configured to select a connection destination wireless station from among a plurality of wireless stations. The wireless station selection unit includes a power calculation processing unit, a storage unit, a table update processing unit, and a power variation range detection processing unit. The power calculation processing unit is configured to calculate power of each receiving signal from each of the wireless stations. The storage unit is configured to store a table, and the power of each receiving signal equal to or more than a predetermined threshold is recorded in the table in association with each of the wireless stations. The table update processing unit is configured to update the table at a predetermined timing interval. The power variation range detection processing unit is configured to detect a variation range of the power for each of the wireless stations with reference to the table and configured to set the wireless station in which the variation range is within a predetermined range as a priority candidate of the connection destination wireless station.

A back light unit includes a light guide plate having a rectangle shape with first and second edges and a light source having a light element to emit light to a first edge of the light guide plate. The light guide plate emits the incident light from the light source to a liquid crystal display panel as a flat light source. An elastic frame is integrally formed with first and second frame elements in a rectangle shape so as to surround the light guide plate. The light source includes a metal frame clipped by a clip shape implemented provided in the first frame element. The first edge facing the second edge of the light guide plate is fitted to the metal frame. The second edge of the light guide plate is fitted to a second frame element having a clip portion for clipping the light guide plate.
